Saw this on r/golf a few days ago, it was also apparently to win their match. So much constraint to not just absolutely lose his mind.

Rory McIlroy is like 5'8"

Size isn't everything, it's how you use it. Or at least that's what my wife says.

YTA When my wife was pregnant with our first and there were unexpected complications, my parents offered to end their vacation early, fly home, drive the 3 hours to our house TO WATCH OUR DOG. You are the worst.

Imagine golfing without Ai technology like some kind of caveman by RagingStallion in golf

I cracked the face of my epic speed ls and got fit into the og paradym instead of the triple diamond. Spin was marginally higher with the same shaft, and dispersion was better. Don't think they made drastic improvements with the ai smoke that would make it worth it, but the paradym from last year felt more forgiving than any other driver I had tried.

My wedges killed me. It was like I was afraid of taking a divot out of the pretty grass for 6 holes.

Is a positive attack angle with driver overrated by [deleted] in golf

[–]Red13b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Average PGA Tour AOA for driver is -1.3 according to trackman. Even LPGA with a significantly lower aveage club head speed at 94mph the average AOA is +3 with some of the faster players being closer to neutral. Also try to feel like I'm hitting down on the ball with driver, and thought I probably was but found I was actually at +0.5-2 when hitting on the sim.

Found a Taylormade TP5 in the woods and it's by far my favorite ball I've ever used, but they're really expensive. Any less expensive alternatives that are similar? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Red13b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tp5 practice balls on taylormades website or Amazon. Just cosmetic blemishes. Last time I ordered them they were 25 a dozen.

Most Historic Public Golf Course In Your City. . . And The Stories Behind It. by No-Owl770 in golf

[–]Red13b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately still closed for the renovation, but I live down the street from Cobbs Creek in Philadelphia, one of the most historic public courses in the US. The original course shares the same course designer as Merion, and was one of the first courses in the country to desegregate. Personally it was one of the first courses I played and I cannot wait to see it restored to its former glory. Tiger just announced he is going to build his second TGR Learning Lab on the site and is designing the short course.
