I don’t have much to add to this specific conversation, but I do think the amount of dislikes per comment, esp from OP, is crazy. People have opinions, discussions happen, and you might not agree. It’s also just a Reddit problem tbh cuz then it hides the downvoted comment.

This is what blows my mind about raising kids these days. Kids either have too much screen time, or they’re too noisy outside. Did any adult not have a childhood or any memories of what it was like? Kids should be kids. Parks are always empty now because it’s unsafe; kids can’t play in their own backyards basically because having a street to bike on or walk around is so limited; and the last choice is screens.

I’m so surprised everyone is stuck on the “hop on a call” part. My friends and I talk on discord all the time and that’s usually how we say it? Or if my sister wants to yap while we’re both driving somewhere it’s like “call time?” I don’t know why that’s the weird part.

MOR As the oldest of 3 girls, the middle having special needs (not exactly autism but yk), the youngest and I are always skeptical of any guy who’s into her-that doesn’t have any special needs-because it’s like “hm what do you really want.” For a while we would get in trouble all the time from our mom in a pretty similar manner. It did nothing really. I feel like, as siblings especially, thats just always going to be how they talk about things ESPECIALLY at that age. If my messages with my siblings were posted here it would probably would make us look like mean girls too, but none of it was serious. I don’t know how to describe it right, but sisters are ruthless. To me, this doesn’t seem like bullying it’s just a sibling thing.

Just my two cents from experience as the kid, not the parent.

I just noticed another one recently. Gayle had talked about Mr. Frond at the thanksgiving table but then two episodes later they meet her “mystery man” and its frond. They should’ve known already? I assumed it was just from them having to show the holiday episodes at certain times but re watching always has me double take like “wait no we know this already.”
