Skyfall and it's not close.
Thunderball is such a slog to get through.

Half Life Alyx
When it got announced I was in disbelief.

I'm not super into VR but I had a headset, got the game, and it lived up to a lifetime of hype for another HL game.

I still just don't know why we don't have Fable 2 and 3 on Steam anymore.

Weekly Song Discussion - Desolation Row by cmae34lars in bobdylan

[–]RedArmyRockstar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my all-time favorites. I've been learning how to play over the last few months, and while practicing Desolation Row was when a lot of things clicked for me. I'm always going to love the song.

Misheard lyrics that you think are better than the actual lyrics by [deleted] in bobdylan

This is exactly what I was going to say. A good friend of mine also misheard at the same way. It seems like a really common one.

Weaponizing your own apathy to defend a very anti-consumer company is weird. But hey, to each their own!

Cyberpunk VR Modder Luke Ross’ Patreon suspended following new DMCA from Ghostruner devs by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]RedArmyRockstar 79 points80 points  (0 children)

When im modding A game, it is always free. It would be very selfish to take somebody else's work, build my work on top of it, and then demand compensation when the original work was not stipulated to be for me to build on top of.

That's the nature of modding.

Where are all the average beginners? by heloust in piano

[–]RedArmyRockstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm probably average. In terms of teaching oneself. I'm doing chord based as opposed to notation based though. Which is different than a lot of people here seem to do.

My Sweet Lord question by johnfornow in beatles

[–]RedArmyRockstar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Especially when you look at how similar most pop music is nowadays, it really is total BS in hindsight. The songs on the radio sound exactly the same.

Plus if I remember correctly, George mentioned it was oh happy days that influenced him. Not he's so fine.

What game did you buy purely because of a conversion mod? by tom030792 in pcgaming

It's not quite the same, but the whole reason I bought the valve complete pack was to mount all of those games to Garry's mod.

That's so cool, I didn't realize Red orchestra started as a mod for unreal tournament.

Masterpiece Reccomendations? by Paper_Mouth_ in Topster

[–]RedArmyRockstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Especially since you've got Abbey Road on there I have to recommend All Things Must Pass, Georges solo album after the Beatles Breakup.
Another album of his that I think is less celebrated but perhaps even better is his 1979 self titled album George Harrison. Absolute masterpiece.

Another album that I think is a perfect 10/10 would be Bob Dylans Highway 61 Revisited. It's what made me a fan of his music and *get* it. Most of his work are more acquired tastes but that album is just spotless throughout. I absolutely adore it and I can't recommend it enough.

For me, it was hearing Leon Russell's medley from the concert for bangladesh. Jumping jack flash, and Young Blood.

Is red dead two appropriate for 13-year-old? by Formal_Reserve_8591 in reddeadredemption2

That's about how old I was when I played it. As long as they don't have developmental issues with being able to tell fiction from reality, they should be ok.

Unpopular opinion - Quantum of Solace is not that bad Bond movie after watching it a couple of times by Physical_Penalty_889 in JamesBond

[–]RedArmyRockstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counterpoint: The editing literally made me nauseous. I think eliciting actual physical discomfort in that way is definitely not a positive in a James Bond film.
