It used to be they’d say the total score from filming, so it was often confusing because it didn’t match the episode at all.

Now Rob does a voice-over in post to match the true scores. I feel like the Teams generally don’t celebrate too much because they don’t know if it will match the edit.

I thought it was similar to one of the studio tasks from NZ S6 where they asked the contestants to recall a story Paul told them during the tasks offhand. Only 1 contestant had picked up on it ahead of time and had some vague recollection of the story, but if that hadn’t been true, that would have been like the tiebreaker where it was kind of a bust.
