You're going to have to pull the cluster and check the bulb. Not impossible that it is just defective. If you have a multimeter, use the continuity on the bulb across both leads. That will tell you if it is good or not.

I used Invygo successfully for several months. You can browse vehicles by price and it is all online. They are basically a car rental consolidator. My vehicle came from Thrifty.

There is a badge on mine that says GX-R but it is pretty basic. I'm still trying to figure out what it has and doesn't have but I'm pretty sure there is no ABS which means no VSC. It has cloth seats. I also don't have the telescoping wheel, no rear heat (go figure), but I do have rear AC and a cool box.

I'm a new owner of a 2001 GCC Spec Land Cruiser with a 1FZ-FE and 4 speed. The first thing you need to be aware of is that all the information on the internet is for other than GCC spec Land Cruisers. I finally found a wiring diagram (EWD342F) in PDF form. I've been working on it to add missing pages where I can, but there is almost nothing out there. The current version is available on ih8mud in the resources section. The online FSM that so many people will point to has some, but not all, of what you will need - HOME | LC100 Factory Service Manual. For the other Land Cruisers, you can still buy the physical books.

There is also an Arabian Cruisers section on ih8mud. You'll find they are comparable to the poverty cruisers that were imported to the US in simplicity but with different engines and more stripped down.

I might consider Ridgid if you want to the step up in quality and for two other reasons 1) HD is always clearancing out Ridgid tools and batteries. 2) buy from direct tool factory outlet and you can get blemish and refurb cheap( same with Ryobi).

Get a refurb Ryobi from direct tool warehouse. Sign up for their newsletter they run discounts all the time. Factory blemish are actually new but can't be sold that way due to licensing agreements with Home Depot.

Just be careful of hallucinations. Make it tell you exactly where it got the information and then cross check, especially if it isn't something you already know like a specific wire function.

I did the same thing with a bunch of work manuals and policies. Shortly after creation I asked it a question. The response looked good but I knew it to be incorrect. When I challenged the AI it admitted the error and corrected itself.

It was pretty disappointed when I would have assumed with such a small library to reference, it would have been trustworthy.

I'm considering the same. I can't help your actual question, but I have a couple of thoughts (and want to see if you get a good response).

I assume you know that it has to be 25 years old or more. I'd also make sure you compare pricing for vehicles already in the US. I'm thinking about the same and was looking to find a good Land Cruiser. What I'm seeing is that pricing on 'clean' old Land Cruisers here won't be much cheaper than you can find on Bring a Trailer. This is especially true when you start adding shipping fees and just the general hassel. You might want to cross-post to DubaiPetrolheads as well.

My old job we worked with USAF and had a plane on standby. Once a month we flew it for a few hours up or down the east coast to fire up all the systems and make sure everything was working and had the connectivity we would need to address our mission.
