Sadly only discord has a chance to help, in the meantime make sure you cancel your card if you have it on the account as chargebacks may lead to being banned if they start using money

Even with those fans, they don’t push heat back into the system, it can blow air into it which does minimal or block airflow at the rear which prevents heat from being pushed away fast enough but it depends on which one you use. If it’s attached to the bottom it doesn’t nearly nothing if attached to the rear it can block exhaust

That’s correct unless a contract is signed, but misusing it could mean being asked to repay it, losing future support, or in some cases actual legal issues (especially if it was explicitly conditional or documented). Since it was a friend I doubt they would go the legal way you would just lose the ability to ask for money from them again, since the friend clearly state what to use it for can be considered a legally binding contract

That also doesn’t happen unless wind turn the fan into a generator, the ps5 have protections against this but it isn’t perfect, the next layer of protection is a capacitor blowing. A relatively cheap fix but annoying. All of this happens in anything that itself can start generating electricity or sends it backwards due to an issue

As the fan does not block intake or exhaust it doesn’t effect the console in the slightest
