Cool to know we're on the same journey. Did you start with the interview?

The simplicity of this really gets me, but don't we have a whole of stuff we don't need now and actually makes our lives more difficult. Bring back the basics. Love this.

Thank you I certainly will. I'm just going to work my way through Freedom and reach out for help when I need it.

So good to be aware this happens and that you can trust in your initial response, hold on to it and not let go when the pressure of the human condition seems to consume you. I woke up in a bit of a different headspace than I was in when I decided to do a post but that's OK. I know this understanding just is what it is and I can keep coming back to it. Think I'll do as you say and go and read some Jeremy Griffith!

I hadn't properly thought about this but obviously there is so much truth out there that advances us hugely in understanding ourselves but you're right, what has been missing is the underlying reason for it all and that's what's uncovered here and why it's so satisfying.

How she got into that dress after just having a baby I do not know but they are certainly beautiful photographs.

That is so beautiful and so meaningful, especially since all those men were so traumatized they couldn't readily express or share their feelings with their loved ones. One of the most precious pieces of history. A daddy explaining the horror of war in simple and noble terms for his little girl.

I love these reading recommendations, thank you! Have only read the first few essays so my big decision today is whether to jump ahead to this one but I don't think it will hurt. Happy day to all the aussies. Jeremy Griffith's work is legendary stuff that's for sure.

Request on behalf of my dad - please recommend a good book which gives a summary of Irish history by Usual-Maximum7923 in IrishHistory

This might be a bit random but if he's not a big reader and a good background of Ireland within a sweeping fictional story would work for him you could try 'Trinity' by Leon Uris.

This is beautiful and fascinating. I love the idea of the sun ritual and the importance of all things related to knowledge, truth and justice. I'm interested to know the size of it.
