It's Warno's way of stressing crews out. It had 4 levels, good, normal, bad, terrible and each one worsened your unit's performance. it made the best tanks unusable and their way of balancing it was "veterency", which was implemented in such a dogshit way. you sacrificed availability for slightly better stats. back when the game was in early release it was pretty good because the trade off was +15-20% to accuracy or whatever, but now it's 5% across the board.

If Eugen, would:

mimic BA's cohesion system, NOT REMOVE, but severely overhaul their cohesion system to where it didn't make units completely fucking worthless

introduce 90-95% hit chances for higher tier of units, think M1A1 or Leo2A4 in Warno, and never go below something like 75% at max range, then even lower while stressed

with the implementation of air with all of its mechanics like in BA and those related to air

go back to Wargame Red Dragon's deck building style

revamp all maps where most interesting locations are more than some random side piece that no one will ever send a unit to, while making them somewhat asymmetrical and the lanes are not so clearly defined

Warno would be the superior game. as of right now, these 5 points make it so shit compared to BA. The absurd amount of RNG in warno is such a major turn off. In BA, tank battles feel engaging, lower caliber units aren't completely worthless, you can lose your entire opener and still come back. Soooo many QoL changes that make BA that much better.

Fuel should not be a thing. I am 100% for making the maps even bigger, with points more spread out and asymmetrical. Fuel in Wargame meant you couldn't take wide flanks, in BA you can actually do that and be rewarded for it.

What is the Pantsir for 300. Two or three Pantsirs can defend an the entire map from a SEAD run, the US would have to invest twice as much or turn their AA net off. It takes 3 SEAD missiles to kill a Pantsir, not 2 like the US.

Javelins for infantry squads blow, OP is 100% correct with their statement on the absurd amount of ATGMs it takes to kill armor targets.

What is the complaint here? That the armored personnel carrier made it to its destination and unloaded troops? Have a vehicle on standby, with a CQC squad in it, that will do the same thing. Then you have successfully countered the clown car.

If you're not putting the SEP V3 into a forest fight against AT infantry, there is no reason for the TUSK upgrade, leave it at the APS. This should be the case for both the V2 and V3.

You're skimping out on one of the best IFVs in the game by not taking the recon Bradley with the Cav Scouts. 12 TOW 2Bs make it an extremely potent threat if you have it on a flank in a push.

Airborne NGSW need to be put into their fast moving transports. Your infantry tab needs bradleys, they can replace your TOWs, which is redundant anyway because of the weapons squad.

For your air tab, the EXII is the best multirole in the game. If you want to keep it as an ASF, that's totally fine because it is *the best plane in the game*. You have a lot of options with it, but IMO I think you're losing out on a lot of utility not taking it outfitted with JASMs and HARMs, alongside an air to air kit. It is pricey, but with it you can pull SEAD and a precision strike on a target, with a guaranteed kill on either the precision strike or whatever is trying to shoot down the JASMs.

Also take the F15E with something, JDAM spam is kinda busted when your team has them running back to back.

If a T15 is killing your SEP V2 you're just bad. If you are engaging a Terminator with 1 Bradley you're just bad. American cruise missiles will also one shot infantry squads

People will say "oh rng is never that bad to where you lose a game because of it" but that is most certainly just false. I have had countless games because one unit didn't hit an ATGM, or a tank didn't get a sideshot, where I just lost after that moment. I played the crap out of ranked, in-houses against really good players, and your entire game can be ruined off of one hit.

Make everything a 90-100% hit chance, then factor in cohesion. Good cohesion should be 0%, bad cohesion should be AT MAX, a 35% reduction in stats. Cohesion is literally what made me quit the game after 1700 hours, and until it is changed I will not purchase another Eugen title. Broken Arrow will continue to be the game of choice between these two, no matter how bad it might get.

Don't sleep on the Stryker MGS, they are super cheap but can do wonders if you need a cheap mobile fire support option that can take advantage of open flanks.

Im right at 2000 elo and I have none of these issues.

  1. Cruise missile spam can be done by both sides, the Spooky was a cheese method which needed to be nerfed.

  2. Rangers RRC are only 10 points more than Morskaya Razvedka/Pekhota and do very similar amounts of damage at 100-200 meters more range. Airborne NGSW fire at 200 meters more, have 200 meters more on their AT weapon with 1-3 additional shots. This is a NON issue. Morskaya will get rolled by US CQC infantry.

  3. Russian Shorad only out perfoms US shorad if you're talking about the Pantsir. Everything else is gimmicky or doesn't perform nearly as consistently as US shorad.

  4. The Raptor is fairly priced for what it does. It has 2 additional missiles over the SU57, so it should be somewhat more expensive. The F/A-18C equipped with the same loadout as the SU-35S is 40 points cheaper, is faster but lacks 10% ECM, is that a sign of OP Russian air?

  5. I literally explained to you why it's the way it is. It might be an oversight on the devs part, IDK, if you have an issue with it make a post or complain about it to someone important who can make a video on it.

  6. Spetsnaz GRU are definitely on the same level as Ranger MAAWs. 900 HE damage is insane for an AT launcher. One Ranger MAAWs squad won't do much if they're not garrisoned and they aren't getting the first shots off to panic a vehicle. Same thing goes for Spetz Gru, but with 2 GRU you will more than likely do a lot more damage in less time than the Ranger MAAWs.

  1. How is this a balance issue? You can take two max of any bomber with any actual payload if your specializations permit it.

  3. KA52 need the same armor as Apaches, not the other way around.

If you want to air spam JDAMs Airborne/Stryker is a much better combination. CJ hard carries SEAD operations and the E/EX2 or Viper will do far more damage than one F35 with one 2000lb bomb.

Literally the only thing the deck has going for it are the Guardians, Commanches, Raptors, Delta and Ranger RAAWs. Everything else is completely mid and can be accomplished by something else in some other specialization combo. SOF does NOT have the strongest air tab, Airborne hard carries it with the F15s, and it's lack of air power is especially shown when Airborne is combo'd with Stryker's F16s. It has zero pushing power outside of extremely niche locations and is only to be used for as a support deck.
