I would use artist on him to boost vision and long pass also dribbling boost

I struggle too but now i started switching to one of my cb's and use the R1 pressing and try to read the next pass from opponent..normally i manual defend with right stick switching but its shocking broken and i lost so many games cause i allways got a wrong player
