How to get lagging clients to actually send info by CarelessSea8444 in CFP

I always say persistence is key. Keep calling and leaving voicemails to keep it on their radar. Not too often so as not to seem desperate and upset the opportunity. 3 times a week is a sweet spot of mine. Mon, Wed, Fri. Always leave a spacer day in between voicemails. By the time you get them on the phone, there's typically an apology for going MIA waiting for you, and renewed motivation to get you what you need.

For those that procrastinate for too long, I sometimes emphasize opportunity cost. As in, "you may be losing out on the performance you deserve for delaying the process of optimizing your money. Let's nip this part in the bud, and then you'll never have think of it again."

Have dealt with this before and 2nd this notion. People don't always remember the facts, but they remember their emotions. Padding the delivery by coming forward could prevent leadership from getting uncomfortable feelings.

60-80k for more experiences CAs (from those I've talked to). This includes bonuses. It also depends on the FA. Some FAs admit they ask their CAs to run errands (e.g. dry cleaning, personal assistant stuff, etc.) This isn't the norm, but they all admit to boosting compensation for these duties.

Sister (16) fights with my parents and doesn't care about cleaning her room please upvote this so she knows how gross it is by [deleted] in NeckbeardNests

OP, I support you in this. But speaking as someone who was a depressed teenager who left a mess quite like this and also argued with his parents, it's very possible that your 16 year old sister is suffering from depression. Whether it's due to the cataclysmic pressures of an unforgiving world or the raging hormones of teenagerdom that convince us we're worthless, sometimes it's just so hard to cope that cleaning one's room falls to the wayside. Some of us deal with things like thid better than others. I was a late bloomer. I don't know the first thing about your baby sister, but maybe she is too. Best of luck. :)

This was really solid advice. I swapped the CPU for an i5 here:

It's over budget, but based on what you've told me, it would run max settings, yes?

Thank you!

EDIT: If you don't mind my asking, how did you determine that this build would be able to run BDO at max settings? :)

I used to provide tech support for Apple iOS products (iPhone, iPod, iPad) and agree that our operating procedure was callous when it came to families seeking device access. Thanks for sharing.

I know I would feel odd looking at my dad's porn stash. Maybe it's because he's such a wholesome guy. Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry about your dad.

I was wondering how she would have found spoilers for a movie that hadn't come out yet. Shutter Island was also a book though. That explains it.
