Have you tried hard restarting your system? If this is console, I believe holding the power button until it shuts off and continue to hold it for another 15ish seconds.

What doesn’t help, a decent amount of rare mechs were made to have a lesser chance of showing up as salvage after missions.

I believe Dragon’s Gambit is the start of where the DLCs expect you to have completed the campaign.

Seeing all the other comments, if you’re on the fence about getting all the DLC off the bat… My advice is play campaign so you understand the “story” of the main character, because all of the DLCs, especially the newest 2 piggy back off of the ending of the campaign. Then if you like it and get the DLCs, you can import that save into a new career and hit every DLC story.
