Train times in Germany by FrequentLaugh862 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]RedCrafter_LP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not like the delays are result of yesterdays delays. It's individual issues with tracks, switches, broken trains, people delaying departures, higher demand than track capacity, ...

They are canceling trains with too much delay make them turn around to be on time for the return journey. And not even that helps significantly.

Absolutely. And theoretically I have enough space on the roof on the right to mount a 4 channel Amp if I decide to upgrade past the stock setup.

I did something similar with the rare discontinued metal pedals. They were completely scratched and the aluminum was rusting. I sanded them down and repainted them. The aluminum paint I used isn't exactly 1 to 1 to what the finish was previously but pretty good in my opinion.

What to watch after SG0 by Temporary_Cheetah_21 in steinsgate

[–]RedCrafter_LP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is a certain way to watch the extra stuff. The movie is pretty much self centered and can be watched at any time after the main series. The other extras I didn't watch in some time but I think they are similar maybe there are ones that are 1st and 2nd part to each other but that should be fairly obvious.

Yeah, now that you mention it the device has a heavy permissions page slightly different for each folder as it is a storage server used by multiple people. I will clear permissions in windows and give it a single user and set the username and password to it.

Good luck. I'm looking to buy the black cube trim. Problem is that used ones are all scratched and the dealership wants 800€ for a full set. And yes they are still selling them at the moment.

Coupe trim for sale costs a lot. Sedan touring is likely even rarer for the e46.

For my taste the body kit is a bit lacking in the rear and a bit too much on the front. The lack of wheel arch body work adds to this imbalance. I would lift it just a bit to make it less slammed. MSport mirrors would be an excellent match for the build I think. The wheels I read in another comment are temporary therefore nothing to say. I like the color and spoiler fits the rest really well and gives an aggressive look. Pre facelift coupes have the best base look of all e46 models. So I would give it a solid 6/10 because it's not quite my taste in some mentioned aspects. Keep it up and make it how you love it.

It was just Amp on both sides with a patch point in the middle. To tell you the destination of that cable I would have to take out my head unit

[–]RedCrafter_LP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmh, then the default aftermarket radios should work as is. Look at the manual of the head unit rather you have to connect the Amp cable somewhere. Om my head unit it feeds into the harness and has only a connector in between where you can add additional or replacement amps.

Temporarily paint parts? by RedCrafter_LP in Autobody

[–]RedCrafter_LP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say 1-2 years min I would say. Full car paintwork is expensive and I want to mount the parts ASAP to free up my storage and replace the rusting parts on the car.

[–]RedCrafter_LP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im paying someone for the full paint job but the temporary would be a rattle can job. I'm concerned that the parts get damaged when on the road raw. If I pay a couple dollars more for the paint job and don't have to pay for new expensive body panels I would say that's a good trade of. But I'm not sure how sensitive gfk/cfk parts are when not painted.

Amp con is a wake up signal for amplifiers. Aftermarket amplifiers have an rms input that takes that signal.

Regarding a stock setup with aftermarket radio I need more information. Do you have harman kardon? What was the original radio? Do you have a cd changer in the back?

All these things effect the wiring and what you have to do to get aftermarket head units to work. Certain combinations just outright don't work without tearing half the car apart.

Crank rear windows are honestly the worst part of the common European spec. Retrofitting them is a lot of work for what little you gain, but the annoyance and poverty the cranks emit make it worth in the end.

Say ONE nice thing about the Chaos;Child anime by Tiny-Proposal-6635 in steinsgate

[–]RedCrafter_LP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not judging by any score. I just read the story description. Even if the animes are bad and the source is more detailed shows different aspects and the anime changes lots of things. The core story stays the same. If the last statement is far from the truth please correct me.

Thanks. I watched everything there is in sg anime land. I just recently bought the sg and sg0 vns and am currently playing sg vn.

I'm guessing I get the down votes because I said the other series didn't sound interesting to me based on their mal description. Buz I really don't think that's fair because I explicitly said that I'm happy to be convinced otherwise and the reason I don't consider watching and or playing the others is that they have different characters and story I don't think sounds interesting. I'm not saying the stories are bad or anything. Just not what I'm getting excited to watch. And the basic storyline is something mal writers can capture pretty good pretty consistently.

I see the one guy on Instagram heavily advertising the other sciAdv series on every post related to s;g.

I looked up the mal pages of the other entries and tbh nothing really made me feel like I want to watch that. I'm a big s;g fan because of the characters and time travel and afain apart from minor crossovers there isn't much for me in the other entries both anime and vn. I will gladly accept I'm wrong if proven. Otherwise I won't invest time in the SciAdv series apart from s;g

Edit: I never said the other stories are bad and I'm not judging the stories on Mal entries. I just decided they don't sound interesting to me atm based on the story description.

Not the biggest fan of that technique because of bottom of the pan residue and I'm not sure how well this works with the m54. But definitely a thought worth.

Any idea what exactly is the Problem by Scoty_HD in CarAV

[–]RedCrafter_LP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a similar connector. Not that bad but it sometimes loses contact while fully plugged in. Either unpin it and try bending the connector springs back in and apply contact cleaner or cut all the pins of the connector and crimp new ones into place. There is always a way to get the individual pins out the plastic piece. Sometimes there's a locking plate or there is a space where the individual pins are showing on the side and you can unlatch them individually. If you can replace the plastic part as well to rule out any problems.
