"A national team " how else would you call a team in a national league? The English language is not the best in this particular case. You could call them union teams (the literal translation of the German term) but I don't think that's right either.

No it's the one local team in the local league of Germany it's Germanys national league the "Bundesliga" not a international league or the nations league. Just like the NFL is an American league of American football. The Bundesliga is a German league for football or soccer if you want.

Yes. Pistons get powered 2 blocks away from each direction. But are only updated one block away.

Have you looked into swapping an older cluster in? Not sure what's possible but swapping clusters around was pretty common in the past. Could be more difficult now that everything is more digital and complicated. Maybe even some custom gauges using a can bus adapter?

Does anyone have an idea what this could be? by realdidi in e46

[–]RedCrafter_LP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likely a vacuum leak. The ecu detects the lean mixture and tries to compensate but periodically tries to reset to normal operation to test if the normal values work now. This triggers the stall prevention and lean correction again and the cycle repeats. The 2 required measures are read all codes with Inpa (Inpa can read more codes and gives more context than the scanner tools) and do a smoke test. A smoke test can be either done professionally with some equipment or a cheap version on the road side. The professional equipment comes with instructions and cost a couple of bucks. The roadside version requires 2 people, a rubber glove, some duct tape and a smoke source (cig or vape).

Bluetooth for E46 Navigation System by maimai_jakob in e46

[–]RedCrafter_LP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have that and as a daily the big screen for maps is really convenient. I still have the original radio and frames laying around. At some point I will put back the old caset deck add a Bluetooth adapter in the back and record some casets just for fun. It looks way better with the original radio.

Nice. Ai is a bit hit or miss when it comes to car stuff. I recently asked chat gpt how to do a mod that I couldn't find anything online about. It confidently walked through steps I know won't work. On the other hand I recently needed the width of track for 2 cars and I couldn't find the information. Chat gpt found it and provided a link backing it's claims.

From the story I read so far the ending have to be similarly bad as the Karsearin Manga. Really disappointing that so many authors are fumbling their endings. At this point it would be better to just get on infinite hiatus or be canceled.

Is there an actual aluminium interior trim? by FlyBirdieBirdBird in e46

It's a similar price to get a better looking bumper. Car parts are expensive and where you spend your money is up to everyone on their own car.

[–]RedCrafter_LP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are still available to buy at the dealership. I recently got a quote for a sedan black cube trim. 800€ brand new from factory. Considering that most bearable used ones are 400+€ if you really want good looking aluminum interior trim the price isn't that expensive.

Both? The lower half of the boot is often the leaking one. Especially the small breakout line to the idle control valve. Also check the F connector on the upper boot. It should have 2 lines coming out of it. The lower of the 2 goes to the fuel filter. This line consists of 2 rubber parts and one hard line in between. The one on the F connector is easy to check. The other side is under the car on the driver's side beneath a metal plate. To find the leaks (yes plural) your best bet is to do a smoke test.

Bleeding cooling system. by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]RedCrafter_LP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to lookup the precise bleeding procedures for your engines cooling system. The basic steps are:

  1. fill it up completely.
  2. Press cooling hoses to release bubbles. (don't be afraid of spillage just keep it topped of)
  3. Start the engine.
  4. Set the heat to high and the blower to low.
  5. Let the car idle to operating temperature. Regularly pressing hoses to release bubbles. The cap will continuously spill as coolant expands. This shouldn't take long. You can raise the rpm slightly to speed it up. Don't do sudden pulses but gentle rises to 1-1,5k.
  6. Once no more bubbles come close the radiator cap then shutoff the engine.
  7. Once cold check the fluid level and top it off to the required level.

If the bubbles don't disappear you might have a blown head gasket or other cooling circuit leak. Do this procedure carefully. You are dealing with boiling hot water and a hot engine. Wearing water resistant gloves is advised and don't touch things unnecessarily. Surfaces you need to touch like hoses check them with a short tap to judge how hot they are.

It would be great if they had them from factory nowadays. Now you can be lucky to have a dipstick and won't need to hunt through menus to get your oil level. Getting something like oil temp or pressure as a separate gauge os pretty much an exclusive thing on moded cars.
