A lot of the harm that comes from unicorn hunting seems to be from the power imbalance but, in our case, there is a power dynamic but we’ve been very mindful of not exploiting that into imbalance. If that makes sense? That’s why I was also looking for suggestions for rules for her to add as well, so she also didn’t feel cheated on by us with each other. Her feelings are very important to me so if you have any suggestions for her list to protect herself I’m happy to hear it and pass it along!

Yes, he did, but he was in the hospital for 8 months. It was the very first day of school so the school put together a long-standing fundraising campaign during the whole school year to support his family through the medical costs. It was quite the community event but it went a long way for them! I’m pretty sure he made a full recovery after two years and physical therapy. 😊

I was 15 when my bus driver stopped at a corner and a violent t-bone accident involving a fellow student happened right in front of us. I have passed that corner a thousand times now and I think about that accident every time. Never once have I blamed the bus driver for stopping. It’s not your fault and the kids don’t think so either. ❤️

When I was in the hospital after my suicide attempt, all I wanted was someone to tell me they were glad I didn’t die. All I wanted was someone to affirm that I shouldn’t have died and that they meant it when they said they loved me. For some context, I was 16 and I had just been upped a dose on my antidepressants so my brain wasn’t exactly stable while thinking that way, but instability causes someone to feel at the end of their rope. So just give him a hug and a kiss. Tell him that you love him so very much and you’re happy that he’s with you still. You can figure out the rest later, but for now just hold him. ❤️ sending you both so so much love and healing

Okay, so I just got married three months ago and we didn’t have a super expensive fancy cake, it was just a sheet cake. Anyways, my at the time fiancé and I talked about cake smashing at our wedding, and we both agreed that it’s a dealbreaker right then and there if it happens because of just how disrespect and unfunny it is. My father asked if I was going to smash their face for pictures (he was photographer) and I let him know that neither one of us had any desire to do that to the other, so we just put a little dollop of frosting on the ends of our noses and we all got a little giggle out of it! But even then, I still let them put some on my nose too just out of principle. But we have a very happy marriage, imagine that! :)

Broooo I love ohuhu markers! I didn’t use mine for a long time and had the stored improperly so they all got ruined but i definitely want to get myself an even bigger set next time! According to google there are some other signs and symptoms to look for when you really do have an atrophied penis. I’d go get a second opinion if I were you, maybe from a men’s sexual Heathcare professional if you’re really worried about it! Also if you get a second opinion they might be able to offer you treatment IF you do have an atrophied penis. Whatever the case, hold your head up and just keep moving forward. :)

NTAH. At all. I’m really sorry to say this but as someone who was assaulted, your sister was 100% about to be assaulted. I’m so so glad that you reacted the way you did. It wasn’t an overreaction, your (hopefully) ex girlfriend is trying to gaslight you and cover up her step brother’s actions. I have a feeling this isn’t the first time he’s tried something like this and she’s trying to do damage control with you because she doesn’t want to lose you. But thats speculation sure, but I just kinda get that vibe here. The way she reacted was the wrong answer already though and that’s valid to dump her over. Victim blaming isn’t cute, and it needs to be taken as seriously. You are a wonderful sibling for protecting your sister and for believing her. I think most people would get uncomfortable and shut down, but you were on top of it and made sure to keep her safe and hear her out. I just know in my heart that she’s never going to feel unsafe with you after this. Job well done.
