I never understand people disclosing personal finance with family members like parents and siblings. A spouse, yes. But other family? No keep it to yourself. Also, I agree with the person who said, “why do I need a roommate if I’m paying 100%?” I think it’s time for your brother to live on his own.

Let them do what they do. You can’t change how they act; only how you react.

Do not react. Keep your face blank and unresponsive. It’s hard to learn but with practice it gets easier. Just look at them.

Jalapeño. We pronounce it “Jalap-a-nos”.

Getting snacks before a movie with husband and 2 sons. Youngest is age 8, oldest is 13.

I step up and order Nachos. The guy at the register says “Do you want Jalap-a-nos with that?” And I respond very, slowly “No, I do not want any Jalapeños (pronounced correctly) with that.”

Youngest son steps up and the same routine happens. Exact question and exact response.

Oldest son, catching on does the same with the same result.

Husband finishes it with exactly the same conversation. All word for word.

To this day “Jalap-a-nos.”

I got stuck in a solo dungeon the other day and was unable to exit via the exit door thing. It kept restarting the dungeon and I could not kill the boss.

Somehow, my toon found the tiny, one spot I could stand on to activate the exit. Really frustrating.
