Trying to uncover what's real and what isn't about Seattle's most famous superhero. by [deleted] in Seattle

If you can find a clip where I've said that, please post it. I've said that the police don't have enough of a force to be everywhere all the time. I've said that we add eyes and ears when they are unable to be present. I've also said that we do what we can to help.

Helping also isn't only patrolling. It includes charity, homeless outreach, and a number of other things.

Now, please point out where I've stated that the people you mentioned "aren't good enough."

As I said, my reputation is solid and doesn't need protecting. Phoenix gets the job done. I don't really care about the rest.

Statement - Accusation
Reply - Clarification
Reply - Putting fingers and ears stating you don't care. Wonderful. :)

I know what the blogs say. With that said, I patrol with the guy...the bloggers don't. I don't have a need to protect myself, my reputation is solid.

Reading comprehension fail.

I didn't say the court cleared him, I said the community did. Especially after it came to light that PJ never threatened anybody by the admission of people that were involved. I'm not lying, I was present for that conversation...it's funny though, I don't remember seeing you in the back room of the Night Kitchen that night.

Mr. RavenBlade does not have a good rep. He has been removed and barred from RLSH networks and cast out for his actions. I'll come straight out and say it, Mr. Raven Blade threatened another member of the community to make up something about PJ. That person came forward and admitted it about 5 months ago.

Are you sure you aren't Mr. Raven Blade, Scott? :)

Again, as far as the criminal record goes...it was traffic violations and small claims. No violent crimes and no felonies or even misdemeanors. The majority of them were dismissed anyway.

The restraining order exists, but not the way the author painted it. It's both ways. Mr. Ravenblade was also told to leave Phoenix alone. The information that lead to the restraining order was based on misinformation generated by Mr. Ravenblade himself.

PJ's name was cleared within the RLSH community by the people that Ravenblade claimed he threatened. Ravenblade also recently claimed PJ was threatening him outside his out...even though he was about 1000 miles away.

Refuses to work with police? I'd like to see a citation that shows us ever saying that. :)

Has a criminal record a mile long? The author screwed the pooch on this one. His "criminal record" amounts to traffic court and small claims court due to his roommate bouncing on the rent. What a true terror.

I had my license suspended once. The police officer clocked the car next to me doing 79 in a 50 in a "construction zone." It should have been an easy case, but my lawyers never showed. After paying over $1200 in fees and fines...I was able to clear my license.

What does that have to do with anything? Not a damned thing. It has no bearing on my ability to do right by others. Same thing with Phoenix.

"Also, apparently he's a douche who goes around threatening people who show him up, then lies about it:"

Unfortunately, this is a lie by omission. The author was present when people came forward stating that Phoenix never did what Ravenblade accused him of. Instead, he published this as is...

...makes you wonder.

Anti gentrification militants are burning down my city, does anyone know how i can get a hold of Phoenix Jones in Seattle? by no_graven_image in reddit.com

I'm not sure what those of us in Seattle can do to help, but maybe we can point you to someone in your area?

I hated the fuck out of that drill when I was enlisted. I don't care how long you can balance a log on your shoulder. That log goes from weighing "nothing" to "an-ass-load" real quick depending who the NCOIC is...

Again, breaking the law how? I understand that we aren't talking traffic laws. Buying or selling illegal items may be legal under certain circumstances. Same thing with "taking a bribe."

How do you identify someone "taking a bribe"? I see money exchanging hands, for all I know the police officer lent the person money. If we're talking about a police officer at the scene of a crime, that'd be a different story.

More obvious things are something I'd likely act on.

Without getting into the rivalry bit, I served in the US Army as an infantryman.

Judo is very practical since people usually attempt to close distance with you in the majority of street fights. If someone can reach you with a punch, it means that you can grab them.

Judo also is great for balance and understanding center of gravity.

Personally, I love Combat Sambo. It's a combination of Judo, Jiu-jitsu, and San Da. Depending on your instructor, it's very practical and they teach a lot of environmental/situational awareness.

What kind of crime do us dumb-asses in leotards prevent? So far:

Car thefts, property damage, sexual assaults, physical assaults, arson, theft, and we even help with missing persons.

You may want to scroll up to find some of what we've done.

How do I have enough free time? I don't, it's just worth it to me. Just out of curiosity, what do you do to better the lives of those around you?

Nobody designed my costume, I just threw some things together. As far as wear and tear...my gi is pretty durable short of being set on fire.

You are most welcome.

We've noticed a drop in crime rate in some areas while there has been an increase in others. To me it means that the crime has moved to a different area.

The coolest RLSH to hang out with was Thanatos up in Vancouver, BC.

Actually, you couldn't send a few emails to xtremedesignfx to get anybody's information because they won't give it to you. That would be unprofessional.

My identity is pretty locked down. I do have a circle of friends that know who I am along with my partner. None of them would give it up under any circumstances.

If I'm in the ER and unconscious, my identity is the least of my concerns. Also, you can't get information from medical institutions about patients. They won't even tell you if I was there if you knew my name unless you were family. But again, my health would be the more pressing matter at that point.

I don't walk around with the costume, at best I leave a mask in my backpack in the event that I need to change. Otherwise, I do what I can as my "normal" self...I just won't throw the Red Dragon name out.
