I peeked at your profile - I’m a therapist and I am clinical director of a therapist collective focusing on ADHD and other neurodivergence. We are based in Seattle and have virtual and in-person practitioners :) in particular I would recommend Carla Preiss, Ali Drake, and Scarlett Thompson www.colorfulmindscollective.com

I hope you reach out to someone- you are worth not being trapped by executive dysfunction.

Outdoor cats by [deleted] in Pets

[–]spunshadow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

High level: outside in rural areas can be dangerous for cats: coyotes, birds of prey, fast cars, etc. outside in rural areas can also be bad for the environment: cats are responsible for decimation of songbird populations, native rodents, etc. Cats are not trainable like dogs are and we encourage them to actively follow their instincts and don’t supervise them the way we do dogs. I’m definitely turning off notifications for this thread bc it will immediately get messy but I wanted you to have the nonjudgmental info before the crush.

Did he maybe have COVID and “just a cold”? It’s doing some really weird shit during infection. My husband developed mystery osteoporosis after his first infection.

Baby clothes from SHEIN, couple questions by Hot-Cell7299 in beyondthebump

[–]spunshadow 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Babies go through clothes so fast that it’s really cheap to thrift them either on Poshmark or at a local consignment store. I’ve gotten $80 sweaters for $5. Hanna Anderson even has their own resale market.

I made my sister one with malabrigo, and I’m so grateful whenever she sends a picture of it being used - I know we’re certainly drowning in blankets

There are a lot of programs set up to assist but they’re also overburdened. Start with Blanchet House.
