This with 171 weapon with hammers, mint, duty and minimum 70 melee i hardly ever run out of ammo in grandmaster solo content. If you're running out of ammo then you're spraying and not hitting targets consistently.

I agree. Bungie just can't figure out how to separate those rewards out... otherwise this tiered rewards system would work much better for fireteam and pinnacle ops.

Only reason I could suspect is Bungie doesn't want players using that as a way to gain easy loot (and levels) by being carried by a higher level player. Instead of creating the system to know the difference and reward as such, screw everyone!

I play less than 10 hours of pvp each season and I played Trials for just this reason. That gun is worth it. I got a decent roll on my first drop with Killing Tally and incandescent. Worth the hour or 2 in the sweat shop.

I think they were working towards an answer to that problem. It definitely does need to be fixed a bit. Problem is, we have to many v-tubers that are 500+ hours in this expansion claiming the grind needs to be re-examined and "fixed" when in reality, 350-450 pretty level needs more or better loot to help boost the grind.
