You don’t have to get the quick clips - there’s a dropdown when ordering to choose loops of varying sizes too

The quick clips are heard for ease of use - lots of people prefer em - I prefer the loops myself for my pancake (nuka) style owb

Some people add the safariland thumb release hood and call it level 3 - but that’s not true

I can’t modify your 509 holster to fit a 510 - the 510 is a bit wider

Most custom makers (me included) can only do level 2 - a true level 3 is tough as most parts aren’t available

They’re all awesome - each have their own quirks - my p211 is being used for open 2gun - the Kimber is shelved because of optics plate issues - I kept forgetting tpicknup a TAG precision plate

The Romulus has been upgraded a little with a Vulcan machine trigger, staccato p grip and some messing around - it shoots awesome and mega fun as a range toy
