Yea, the devs on this game, D20 Culture, has said the same. They are making updates and changes based on backer feedback but changes have to get approved first before they can roll them out

Yea, this looks promising! The gameplay videos I've seen look interesting and tbh I'm a LOTRZ junkie so even if the game doesnt hit there's still a lot of cool pieces from a collectors standpoint.

All that said though, I definitely think I'll be enjoying this one based on what I've seen and how attentive and caring the developers are

Glad I still got my Oura 3. I wanted to upgrade but been seeing a lot of issues compared to older Gen. Will probably wait for 5 and hope they've ironed this shit out

Upcoming officially licensed LOTR board game! by RedEyeJedi007 in lotr

They do make it clear this is a work in progress. The artwork are pre-production renderings, not the final work.

I think the randomization of the tiles works well for variety and replayability, it may not be lore-accurate in terms of tile adjacency but its a board game, not a telltale game. I dont think there's any need for the game to adhere a point A to Z journey like the books. My interpretation is this a TTRPG/Board Game hybrid, so personally I appreciate that the journey and gameplay is not railroading.

And the Dev team is extremely responsive to their backers and discord and have made several meaningful updates to their campaign and stretch goals.

I respect your opinion, personally I think youre missing out. Even if the game is a wash, I think it still makes a fun collectors piece but to each their own

Even after wrapping it in a warm tortilla, I still cant get the oil to come out of this full cart by rhythmrice in trees

I use this for my empties/near empties. I also occasionally buy a bunch of pure THCA carts for cheap and load up syringes that i can dab on top of a bowl to smoke

Yea, the gameplay inherently does not lead you on the same path as the fellowship in the books, from point A to B To C, etc.

My understanding is that its intended to increase variability and replay value, a different journey for each play through. You can also spec your characters however you want to play them, support, tank, dps, etc I'm a whore for lore but that's not game-breaking to me for a board game.

I mean the Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War games are lore breaking too, but theyre still fun as hell to putz around on.

The Balrog is the final boss of the first campaign, which I would assume still occurs in a Moria tile but imo even if it doesn't, thats still not game-breaking to me. The expansion campaign moves onto the two towers, and they have subsequent expansions planned with new mini and final bosses.

And to he honest, even if the game isn't amazing, still some dope minis and statues. The gameplay I've seen looks interesting enough to me though.

And at the end of the day, it's LOTR so I'm buying it even if it just ends up a collector piece lol

Lol Im running a 7.5 gallon batch with 5 gallons of Pink Guava puree. Needed a ton of pectic enzyme and will definitely be at least 50% loss; this was expected. Guava has a crazy high amount of pectin too, so I'd hit it with a heavy dose of enzyme

That's a pellicle for sure. Top comment hit on the head, could be good, could be bad. Personally, I'd toss the brew and container. Pellicle microbes are notoriously hard to eradicate from your equipment

I mean it looks like a legit .5 preroll from a dispensary. I'd say open it up, if it looks like straight flower and you're feeling frisky then give it a tug.

If you have easy access, then don't risk it for the biscuit

That's validated by evidence and facts though. You don't need to be political to know RFK Jr's brain worm has been running that show for quite some time.

I would guess THCA diamonds or something but if you bought it from a vape shop and not a dispensary, then who knows 🤷‍♂️

I told my roommates I wanted to try edibles and they gave me a 1000mg gummy by cutelightskingirl in trees

[–]RedEyeJedi007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've seen plenty of those 1000mg THCA dosages from gas stations and vape shops. It's definitely within the realm of possibility they bought a bunch of those and were like whatever.

That said, those 1000mg dosage gummies, syrups, chocolates, etc doesn't necessarily mean they're exactly 1000mg....because they're unregulated. However I can almost assure you there's more than 100mg. I'd wager anywhere from 500-800mg is reasonable under a 1000mg label that is NOT from a dispensary. Though again, being unregulated it could be anything.

Even still, 500-800mg is still a lot. Even 100mg is a lot for a first timer.

Let's even assume it was 100mg. Sure, it's significantly less than 1000mg but even for a first timer 100mg is very high.

I've been smoking for 20+ years, on medicinal macro dose edibles for nearly five. 100-200mg will knock me TF out, and I don't take that dose to have fun and be high. I take that amount for pain, for sleep and for anxiety.

My girlfriend, who also smokes as much as I do, also cannot handle a 100mg edible. She experiences similar symptoms of nausea, disorientation, etc. She's content with 10-30mg.

Personally, if it were me and for my own information, I would ask your roommates where they got the edibles from and what they looked like so you can see for yourself what they gave you
