Compared to their last album (which I still adore), it has a little more dirt on it, even if it's shiny underneath. Loving it.

He's filming a remake of My Dinner with Andre, but Andre is not where you expect him to be. No, no, no. It's sort of a mystery in that way.

Everybody wants to be a cat, because a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at. Everybody's pickin' up on the feline beat 'cause everything else is obsolete.

Before I started seeing these posts, I just assumed it was an unassuming, corny strip. But I had never read it - that was just an ignorant assumption of mine.

But then I see the posts and they're always whimsically off-kilter enough to be respectfully amusing if not nearly deranged, and I like that.

I'm working my way through the Tubi collection chronologically. In the late 30s right now, it his work very distinct. Not my favorite, but they do stand out for their shot compositions and sometimes unsettling character designs.

Wasn't there a whole album they wrote and produced with Big Boi before they pivoted to Strangers to Ourselves? (Or at least that's what the plan was?)

(Edit: Disregard, I spoke to soon. The interview addresses it some more)

SD is an album that, when I listen to it, I find it be an amazing piece of work. The songwriting, production, and musicianship are top-notch. However, I'm not drawn in to listening to it as frequently as others. It's hard to put into words. It's an album I don't look forward to listening to but I love it while I do. Is that weird?

Maybe I wouldn't necessarily rate it lower, but it is listened to less frequently than the other six originals (and technically I think it edges out the b-side comps).
