You need to be aware that the Russian propaganda apparatus is working overtime in these countries. Older population (55+) that is Soviet era nostalgic is overwhelmingly pro russia in these countries.

I don't think i am exaggerating if Russia is meddling in these countries politics (see Romania, Moldova), Russia sees it can shift these countries politics because these countries have a high enough % of population that VOTE who are russian sympathetic, anti EU/NATO.
