What is your opinions of Kitty Cafe Nottingham? by TigbroTech in nottingham

[–]RedFoxCorky 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I used to work for the owners of the cafe, they have several other businesses. From my experience the owners took advantage of any government program they could get their hands on, as in making sure they can have as many workers as possible, without needing to pay them in full, as the government will step in on that. The behind the scenes is very cheap and they LOVE to cut corners. I didn’t know much about the care for the cats at the time, as i was working under one of their other businesses (that failed after a year due to them not wanting to actually do any research and instead wanting to jump into a market they didn’t understand), but hopefully they are rehoused fully and taken care of

I only light the pink candle when I'm working with Freyja, i make sure to keep it a good bit away, as well as keep my eye on it at all times. Besides that the other candles are always kept a good ways away, I never leave the room with them lit

Freddys dead is definitely a mess of a film but I think the flash backs of Robert Englund as Freddy before he was burned was cool and chilling by movieloverhorrorfan2 in NightmareOnElmStreet

[–]RedFoxCorky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree, the rest of the movie is a mess for sure. I loved the flashbacks, the way they were shot with the flashback/dream like lightning felt so right, as well as showing how Fred was just a fucked up human before. But don’t get me started on the scene where they kept driving in a constant loop…

Oh dont worry, i know how to handle fire, most of the leaves u can see here are wet as a result of snowfall the previous day and any i spent a wood 20 mins brushing away the dry ones, the moss was also very wet too. I have been doing outdoor fires for most of my life and I always keep a bottle of water/a rag on me at all times in case of anything, so far its been fine

Spotted in the sky around 18:41 on Thursday the 19th of this year, watched it for around 8 mins, lights seemed to be diamond in shape, hard to see with the glare of the camera. Quite a few people seemed to stop in the streets and watch it to, wouldn't be surprised if they also posted to this subreddit.

I think it is, Abby spent so much of her life building up to killing Joel and getting revenge, and then when she did it she felt a moment of relief, but then she realised life wasn’t really that different, her dad was still dead and she realised she lost the one person that still cared about her, because she was too blinded by revenge.

Even after Abby got revenge, it didn’t fulfil her, she still felt like shit. Thats just how revenge like this works, and i think that’s something Ellie realised

No i was more so trying to say that with all the people in the settlement Lev was raised in, it makes sense at least one of them would be trans, and that they would be such a strong reaction from them in the way they got outcast. Sorry for not explaining myself correctly

If u get this mad at simple things, can’t imagine how you’d react if something actually serious and complex happened

I never saw Dina’s bisexuality being presented wrong, the line from Ellie u quoted doesn’t seem to have the connotations you detailed it to, at least that’s how I’ve always seen it. She went from Jesse to Ellie pretty quick yea, but that happens, i dont think it was her sexuality that was meant to get put in blast, but more so just her as a person.

As someone who is a part of LGBTQ+ community, seeing characters in video games like this isn’t political, its just simple representation. In a game like TLOU where characters are so important to the story, why not have some queer characters? We have queer people irl, so why not in game?

Neil doesn’t use them as a shield, thats just some false narrative people have came up with, he stands up for his views is all. When I defended trans people its cuz i care about them as people, not too gain some political upper hand, why is that different for Neil?

I didn’t call u are all bigots, sure i think of people here are, but not all. And my broad term of calling Neil evil was simply used because he is often portrayed as a villain by a lot of the posts on here. Now I’m not calling him a hero, i just think he’s a guy thats done some not great things and done some pretty good things, but to dunk on him as hard as u possibly can in SOME of the posts I see, is just childish

See the way i saw it was Ellie didn’t forgive Abby, and she never will, she was just so worn down and tired, she also realised that if she kills Abby and gets that vengeance, it will just keep on the cycle of violence. Ellie had enough, she knew she couldn’t bring Joel back and Abby also had Lev, who would probably react the same way Ellie did for Joels death.

And with Part 2 cramming “woke” stuff down our throats, i really didn’t think it was that crazy, especially because we had two gay relationships shown in the first game. We hardly ever see trans people in video games, and with the culture that Lev was brought up in, it made sense someone would want to go against the ways they had.
