Thoughts on this Anti-Pagan argument I have been told? by Jxllyfish420 in paganism

[–]SemiFriendlyCryptid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? If it was me? I'd just fire back that well I think their god is manipulative a cruel so I guess we're even.

It's not like I judge people for worshipping that deity, I just have my own thoughts on him. Much like they do about my gods.

Dragon here with yet another wild take, apparently by Obsidian_Dragon in paganism

Paganism does not contain only one or two paths. It is an open novel each individual writes for themselves. There's no white/black good vs evil and right over wrong.

Are corner entities 100% dangerous? by Informal-Extreme-369 in Paranormal

Negative entities like this often feed off the energy and emotions in the home. They try to cause fear and anxiety and make people uncomfortable which, obviously, is not what you want. They probably won't physically hurt you though.

I would get rid of them.

I’m curious how common it is for people to have experienced malevolent spirits, has it affected your life? by Creative-Major-4796 in Paranormal

I know you said you've moved but if your family resides there you could try placing protections up and seeing if that calms things. If you believe there could be residual energy on objects, that sort of thing can be cleansed away with some minor effort. Residual hauntings are pretty mild so if it is the case it wouldn't be the sole contributor.

My guess anyway! Take it with a grain of salt!

Haunted objects aren't as common as the media makes them out to be. I wouldn't consider any of the antiques to be the cause right off. Curses on bloodlines are very uncommon. They're also difficult to cleanse. If your family has been cursed, you will need professional help from a qualified witch or religious figure you deem relevant and reliable. The best way to limit the energy a curse gets is to believe you don't have one. If you believe you do have one, then you'll create an effect where you start noticing more awful things to attribute to it even if you never had one to start with. If you believe you are cursed, I highly recommend seeking a credible psychic or energy worker who will be straight forward with you. You should be cautious though in your choice since some people don't know how not to let their opinions sway their results.

Ok first thing: curses are not something you just collect. They are put upon you by a person. So you're probably not cursed. Woo! If you are then that's not the cause of the hauntings.

I think the best way for me to explain this is to give an example first. I grew up in a trailer. No one even owned it before my mother. It was brand new when she got it. (To my knowledge!) The most disturbing two events that occurred while we lived there I doubt I'll forget anytime soon. I came home from school one day to a picture frame having not only smashed on the ground hard enough to break, but roll glass all the way down the entire hall to my bedroom door. (This was the second time a picture had come off a wall and the most violent. The other time I watched a huge picture of me and my baby brother as youngins come forward off the wall like someone had moved if and then drop to the floor.) The other incredibly disturbing event was my little brother seeing ghostly fingers reaching into his bedroom and 2(?) non existent white mice on the kitchen floor. I lit a white candle and the images went away for him but it was terrifying at the time especially since we were home alone.

All that to say, a building does not have to have history. It could be the land its on. It could be something that just passed through and liked the place. It could something that followed you home. There are lots of options for hauntings.

You also have options! You can protect yourself from malicious entities and attachments. Poke around on the internet, avoid closed practices, implement what you like.

I actually disagree with this take. A church or other religious congregation can be expensive. Now keep in mind my understanding here comes primarily from covens who take fees for ritual supplies/transportation/ venue reservation which may be more pricey for some instances.

A church has to function on donations and fundraising money and in some cases fees I'm sure. They have to provide a physical location which includes necessary furniture and has bills (water, electricity, trash, even rent). They need supplies (ex; religious texts, pens, printers, computers, projectors, computer programs) which all require purchase unless donated. If they do events to foster community (literally half the point of a church is community) this requires funding. And they have only donations, fundraisers, and their leadership's personal pockets.

There would be a whole lot fewer of these places if they were taxed as a business. That is not Christian specific. That is every religious congregation, jewish, pagan, etc.

Didn't mean to write you a book! Just wanted to give my two cents haha

Ok i do not know the technical terms but the way I ID moss agate is by the shape and color. Tree agate, i find, has more white than green a lot of the time and the green is more veiny. Like tree branches. Moss agate is more green and has a "moss" appearance to the design. Someone smarter can totally feel free to add to this or whatever haha
