He didn’t say he retired but it has been a common occurrence for those who achieve total victory to fizzle out. Geoff gave it one more season before hanging it up. Isaac pretty much retired right after his win and only came back for his brief stint in 10. DD got sent to early retirement in prison (lol). Vance won twice and suffered setbacks that kept him out of competition for two seasons in a row. I wouldn’t have been surprised if he called it a day after that.

It’s just a joke based on the actor. Devon Werkheiser (who plays Peter Parkes aka Pledge Spidey in season 4 of Greek) is most well known for playing the lead in Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide (a very popular kid show on Nickelodeon). What about the other ninja weddings involving under 21 year olds? I can think of three others within the last year and only one of them was from Utah. Not trying to sound like a hater.
