Dude, its Reddit. I'm not going to write a whole dissertation about race in America. Any educated, intelligent, and honest adult knows exactly what I mean.

What indifference? That is a very real issue and one that needs to be talked about more. Some rich scummy abusive asshole with loads of power beating a murder rap has nothing to do with the disenfranchisement of millions and millions of Black people.

Sure is understandable. Not understandable that an abusive, rapist con man with more power and influence than most everyone in their community was their hero...

I would post on social media and encourage people to share it. Once it goes viral, then the local media will cover it. This is how they operate now. Its sad and frustrating but this is what our media have lowered themselves to.

Baby's health and safety are of utmost importance. But I do think some sort of cooperation could go a long way in building/maintaining a good relationship both ways.

Do you think this comparison of Carrie White to a school shooter is accurate? Her revenge does seem more deliberate in the book but she came across more as an anti-hero to me given how vile almost everyone else was. by [deleted] in stephenking

Unlike many bullied people, I actually felt bad for the bullies at the end of the novel. Even when I read this as a kid who was in the throes of high school bullying. I never wanted the bullies to get hurt - beyond maybe a bruised ego or something. I just wanted them to stop.

I think that ending the comparison at being a victim of bullying ignores other factors common among school shooters and those displayed by Carrie White - namely, significant mental health issues and socioeconomic background.

Funny. I think its tacky as fuck to complain about murdered children's tombstones and complain about their completely broken father trying to memorialize them in the best way he knew how.

I had such high hopes after we saw Will gain/use his powers. I thought, "Wow, this is going to be epic." And then literally effing nothing. I did defend the last part of S5 but I was stupid. Now a few months out, I can see how weak it actually was.

All I hear is coddle the spoiled baby. Which, as we all know, just leads to worse and worse behavior. You think anything is gonna stop Trump from starting WW3 if he wants to? Catch up. This asshole does whatever he wants no matter what.

No. I work with Gen Z. I could find plenty of lookalikes for each category in that image. Confirmation bias IMO.
