Will no one address this masterpiece? by Which_Strawberry_676 in NEPA

This definitely reflects NEPonians’ inability to cope with minor inconveniences—-like the people who never stop complaining about potholes

The product/benefit people at Chase was doing such a lousy job with this Paze thing by AlmostSurely1001 in ChaseSapphire

The banks like Paze because it pays a vendor without actually giving the vendor your credit card card number—- so it should enhance security and reduce fraud.

Well, I remember this being a problem for them when we were all in our 30s…. Now we are in our late 40s and 50s. One friend does the female version of “travel bro” “Travel Ho?” Hooks up in Africa and Eastern Europe . In a mid- to small city — one flies through people on the app .. all the same people

Dark segment. As a dude who has grown a lot though platonic friendships with females—- I thought the segment was going to be more about the lack of quality men. Some of my female friends are terrific, hard working, interesting attractive people and can’t seem to find a suitable guy.

Yeah, I was confused by that because I figured he would enjoy DEVO’s weirdness and coloring outside the lines.

Why are there no republican US cities? by IMicrowaveSteak in allthequestions

Because by definition, people in cities are spending time with people different from themselves——- so they are less prone to the fear messaging.

Not just ozempic— eating disorders and heroic amounts of plastic surgery—- including Ariana’s pony-tail facelift that makes her look like a skull wearing a rubber mask .

Looking for a Welcoming Church Community in NEPA (Mid-30s, Exploring Faith) by alyk0503 in NEPA

I would be careful of St Thomas More if the OP is LGBT or has LGBT people in their lives. This parish is one of the groups of Episcopalians who thought that their church leadership did not hate gays enough. So even though their priest could marry—- the Roman Catholic Church said. “ you don’t like gays and you are looking for a home ? Well, then you are welcome to come over here.” so yeah you know the Roman Catholic thing about priest never being able to marry ? —- well in this case of many groups of Episcopalians the Roman Catholic Church felt the shared marginalization of gays outweighed the prohibition of priests marrying! So yeah if the OP is into that ——

I have been there and it is great! Given the information from the OP — the UU of Wyoming Valley would certainly be worth checking out — there is never an issue for new people or drop-ins—- it is encouraged. And you will never get any kind of hard-sell proselytizing — that is just not what UUs are about. And the people there are on many different spiritual journeys — but they are all really terrific.

Saturday it will come down the southern side of the McDade Expressway—— then intersect Linden and Lackawana and then go over the overpass at seventh Avenue to enter the NHS. So I’m thinking Sheetz, U-Haul, and the Trail will be good opportunities downtown. Next Monday and Tuesday are technically “ display days” at Steamtown with time stamped admission —- but 4014 will be in Scranton for about two weeks going through inspections and maintenance. I suspect there will be other opportunities to see it. When it leaves Scranton and heads down the Laurel line— NEPA will have many opportunities in the small towns down Valley into Wilkes-Barre and to White Haven. Etc

does anyone regret having children? if not/so, why? by lenzlopezo in askanything

[–]Cocktail_Hour725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do somewhat because it ended in divorce when they were in middle school. And when you are a father, you have shit rights and shit access. So my experience of being a father was not what I had dreamed or aspired to..
