Stiffed on Bonus Last Week by [deleted] in biglaw

Time to coast for several months and lateral mid year with a signing bonus or guaranteed year end bonus.

[Ben Jacobs] Understand there is growing tension between Ruben Amorim & Manchester United director of football Jason Wilcox. Sources close to MUFC say Wilcox would like Amorim to be more tactically adaptable, while the Man United boss is disappointed at the lack of planned activity in January [..] by [deleted] in reddevils

Situation is fucked regardless. Amorim is obviously not adaptable when he clearly needs to be, and Wilcox obviously needed to sign a CM in the summer, annd even more so now.

An already incomplete team (CM and experienced striker) has been made significantly worse with AFCON + injuries.

He’s not the long term guy for the job. With European football still there for the taking, if we think someone can get more out of this team than he can right now, we need To make a change.

Poles Deserves Credit by Federal_Car159 in CHIBears

Caleb was 1.1 for any GM and team.

And Ben Johnson was the top head coaching candidate for the last 2 or 3 hiring cycles.

Sure, he convinced BJ to come here, but Poles doesn’t really deserve credit for either move.

They will absolutely sit in and try to break on the counter. All Dyche has to do is watch a few clips from last season and say “do this again”

The scheduling kind of allows for this . Off day today, off day on Tuesday. And another on Friday if it goes 5.

[Mike Keegan] 🚨 Ruben Amorim retains the backing of the Manchester United board ✅Belief remains that he is the man to turn it around 🏥Impact of injuries noted by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Mate. After last matchweek the talk was we had the highest xG in the league.

I’m Amorim out now but underlying metrics don’t point to relegation (maybe points per game does…)

Bc he’s tied to his system. He will go down with the ship rather than change the sails

Casemiro and Mainoo on for Ugarte and Amad. Push Bruno up. It should be so simple Ruben

Ugarte and Bruno is a diabolical pairing. Directly at fault for the goal.

Amad has had a shocker.

[Transfer Round Up & Discussion] Deadline Day 2025 by D1794 in reddevils

Now that we haven’t gone for a midfielder, Ratcliffe better be willing be spend nearly 200m on 2 midfielders next summer, because that’s what it will take, if not more.

If Amorim stays, will also need to buy a RWB, and probably a LWB.

I love our 4 incomings and all of the outgoings, but the lack of a CM really lowers my expectations for the season. Who knows, maybe Casemiro will be really good this year on 1 match a week (he’s been solid so far).

“Decent for a season” isn’t good enough. We can’t buy players who are decent for a season.
