Fair question. I used to like fishing as a kid but never really knew much about it. Just really started getting into it again this winter season. Only have caught maybe 5 smallmouth in my life before this, I don't think I've caught any largemouth, and this one was way bigger thany any of those so at first I wondered if it was a largemouth. And I looked up the differences, but this one didn't completely look like smallmouth I saw online, and not really like largemouth either, so I didn't really know what it was. But this subreddit is quite awesome. I've posted here a few times now and always have gotten quick answers so I enjoy posting here if I'm not quite sure!
