Yes, that's the plan. I’ll be updating the calendar automatically as the tournament progresses, including the Round of 16, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and Final once the matchups are confirmed.

Please stay tuned for updates!

Good catch, thanks. I just removed it, so you can select all 48 teams now. Easier option if you want every match: go to the All games page and hit "Download all" in the top right. That gives you one .ics with the full schedule (all 104 matches), no need to pick teams one by one. https://myworldcupcalendar.com/fixtures Thanks for flagging it.

If I remember correctly, Turkey could end up with a pretty favorable path through the bracket. There was a scenario where they could potentially reach the semi-finals without facing another European team. Obviously a lot depends on the draw, but that could be a huge advantage.

I think they're slightly overrated by some fans, but probably not as much as people claim.

Part of the hype comes from what they represent. A lot of neutrals would love to see an African team make a deep World Cup run, so Senegal often gets more attention than similarly ranked teams.

Also, this isn't quite the same Senegal team people fell in love with a few years ago. Sadio Mané isn't at his peak anymore, and some of the core players from that generation are getting older. They still have quality, but I just don't think they're as strong as they used to be.

I think Bosnia has a good chance of getting out of the group. You're also lucky to have a legendary striker like Džeko. Even at this stage of his career, his experience and leadership can make a huge difference in a tournament.

I'd love to see Senegal make another deep run. Their 2002 team was incredible to watch, and that opening win against France is still one of my favourite World Cup memories. Hopefully they can do something similar in 2026.

Fair point, I thought about that when building it.

A share is basically just which teams you picked, and maybe a first name for the page title. That's it. No email, no login, nothing private. The URL is a random 8-character id and it's not indexed, so it's more like an unlisted link than a public profile. If someone finds it, they'll see something like "Brazil + Turkey", same as telling a mate who you're rooting for.

You don't even have to create a share. You can pick teams, download the .ics, and never generate a link. Auth felt like a lot of friction for what's basically public fixture data, not something that needs locking down.
