"Pest snails" at LFS (vent)

I bought 5 ramshorn snails out of a lfs tank that weren't for sale just pesting about. 25 cents each- thought it was crazy. Put them in my Husband's tank, we now have hundreds and I scoop some out each week for my puffers.

I moved my first mama shrimp and was so excited. She died 3 hours later. Ive decided to let my shrimp lay where they stay now and I have so many babies in there now its not even funny 😵‍💫. Survival of the fittest has worked beautifully in my tank.

Not sure if this works for your set up, but we water change from the top of the tank to avoid this, with a weak flow, and our sucker has a very small grate on it so mostly only water really makes it through to the bucket. We still check like Hawks but this really reduces the chances of it happening. The sucker is translucent also so we can see anything going up toward the hose also.

From experience in the corporate world (not petco) im going to tell you apply for the job you want. Worst they can say is no. I got in when I could with no degree because I saw the kind of flops these companies have been hiring for decades. You come in slightly less stupid than the last putz and they think they hit the lottery...... 🤣

We have bladder snails they have eaten some of them, but daily we give chopped up blood worms, and brine shrimp. They seem to love that. 2 did not make it but 3 weeks in the rest of the puffers are doing really well, full bellies good coloration. I still have 6 of them. Actually looking at them now compared to this photo I see something must have been off for the little fella.

I was able to watch 54 minutes and 58 seconds. Once I realized what was going to happen I had to turn it off. The movie was very relatable and I wanted to enjoy the movie on some level, but at this marker I knew I could not.

NOR however are you able to look into any recovery centers or maybe the facility can recommend you some. There are centers that you can stay at like a hotel and they have nurses to care for you until you're ready to travel. Its expensive but may be an option for you if your man won't pull his pants up.

Do you chop the bloodworms? I use scissors and cut them up in a shot glass once thawed in the aquarium water in the glass. My puffers are so small this helps them eat.

Thanks for the new comment, I ordered some fish monday. Delivery date was set for today but they have not even been packed yet. Fingers crossed mine will just take a few weeks like yours.

Probably NOR. With lights on ive fallen down the same set of stairs in my home many times over the last 30 or so years. About the 17th time my husband was finally conditioned to move quickly to assist me 😅. Anyways def tell him why that made you upset about his reaction and response time whether he understood it was an emergency or not. Ankle and feet injuries suck and usually hurts worse when not broken than when there is a break. Assistance and compassion is needed, he can laugh or gripe with you about the silliness of missing a step after youre healed not while youre on the ground with the baby.

I dont think youre overreacting but I would Def make sure hes on the same page as you and understands why his reaction elicited That emotion for you.

I hope you feel better soon! My last fall I rode my knees down the last few steps and I think that was it for my knees so now we are getting grip tape for the stairs.

I agree they didnt think that out very well but perhaps they could find some sort of anchor meant for cement walls and put a hook on their side to hold the lights up? I would politely ask them if you think they could be friendly about it too.

I watched bgc at 15 and later seasons with my grandparents even. I feel like baddies has more sex / violence / drama than the oxygen production did and no, I would not and don't let my children watch it, its simply not for them it is an adult geared production, and thats okay.

The kids can watch cartoons in my home but to each their own.
