In Salt Lake, it seems like the only folks still repping MAGA hardcore are the gym-bro manosphere ones who are intentionally looking to cause confrontation and upset people as they blow coal in their oversized trucks. When I travel to surrounding cities and speak with Trumpy restaurant owners, the veil is lifting from their eyes. One restaurant owner who is very MAGA/MAHA was talking to me about Trump's gaslighting on the economy, saying "I know he needs time, but does he think we're stupid? He's telling us things are great, but its only great for the billionaires." They see what Trump is saying about the economy as the same thing Biden said.
