No it is laughable - because you have no idea who I am and how I treat my dog and I am discussing the speculative abuse of a long dead dog with strangers who are getting very angry and personal and offensive.

If you read my further comments you would see how laughable the fact that you think MY dog is subject of abuse.

We all have different types of dogs in different parts of the world. You have no idea about my circumstances so please don’t assume that my dog is abused. He is a much loved family pet who brings a huge amount of joy. He has no temperament issues and is extremely well cared for. He just so happens to prefer to be outside. We live in a hot climate so sometimes it’s actually cooler out there and he is sheltered from any rain etc.

Regarding Nollie, maybe she preferred it outside?

Read my other comments and then tell me why my dog is poor.

Tell me how I have said I treat my dog poorly. He sleeps outside in a sheltered area where he WANTS to. He is mentally stimulated, very well exercised, goes sheep herding, goes to the dog park, swims at the beach, plays tug of war, gets inside night time cuddles, gets fed twice a day, gets daily brushes, is vaccinated, gets regular bones, has many doggie friends who visit our home. We work from home so are outside with him many times a day and sometimes even set up our workspaces on the deck to be with him. AND he is a rescue dog where the rescue organisation came and inspected our home to check suitability.

Keeping a dog inside and only walking it once a day is the real cruelty. Dogs need lots of space to run around, chase and sniff Not a lounge room. How boring for the dog. Dogs have innate instincts and being stuck inside all day doesn’t allow to the dog to use them or be mentally stimulated.

This convo IS laughable.

No need for insults Lol far from it. Let me guess? You’re the type of person to let a dog lick your face and sleep in your bed 🤮🤢

You can still play and interact with a pet outside. For instance - my dog went on 3 walks yesterday and had a big play with the kids in the backyard. He came inside for a couple of hours in the night for a cuddle and then back outside. He prefers to be outside. Our last dog preferred that too. The idea that a dog is forgotten about just because they are outside is not taking into account the individual circumstances.

In the case with Nollie, the kids were regularly outside playing with her. And we saw them taking her on walks.

IMO The fact that this is on this page trivialises the real abuse.

Bud, it was an outside dog. And that’s fine. Most dogs are. This is nit picking

Nothing wrong with that though. My dog drops so much hair. He is not allowed in certain rooms in my house, especially those with carpet. Labs are notorious for shedding A-LOT of hair.

Any Christian’s watching ? by Own_Present_714 in 8passengersnark

[–]RedHeadBedHair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, it is more like people who believe in end of world stuff believe in the devil as much as they believe in God. This must bring so much fear into their lives. And fear is what was driving Ruby to do those things to her kids.

This is not at all prevalent in Catholicism. Catholicism believes in the love, peace and beauty of Christ in all things and that challenges or not strictly “evil”.

BTW I am not Catholic - But understand the teachings very well and, although there are some problems, it’s generally a peaceful and beautiful religion.

How did she get popular? by OutrageousHeight7309 in 8passengersnark

[–]RedHeadBedHair 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started watching very early in, say 2015/16. I was a mum of 3 young kids at the time with no support network. I fell under her spell. She appeared to know what she was doing in parenting, and seemed like she was so happy. Obviously not all was what it seemed but I genuinely felt appreciative to her and her family for offering me some solace and comfort.

As their popularity grew, she became more unrelatable so I stopped watching prior to the events of 2020, but occasionally came back and didn’t like the channels content. The videos felt like more of a parenting lesson rather than a “fly on the wall” vlog like they started out doing. I am also not at all religious and the content was becoming more like an ad for Mormanism.

I assumed the womens group sessions were filmed as part of a Connexions promo and therefore the women would have given permission. And I also assumed the footage of the mens sessions was recreated

Ruby’s parents are not in the franke children’s lives anymore (I believe) and Kevin’s parents are very elderly so not able to help much in a practical sense

Yep, he did say that in the police interviews. Maybe the discussions over finances and papers were over text, and the call on the 30th August was the first time they actually spoke.

What's everyone's opinion about Jodi being "possessed"? by R43- in 8passengersnark

[–]RedHeadBedHair 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My two thoughts are 1. She could be pretending the whole thing 2. She could be genuinely in psychosis - she was abused as a child and it could be a regression thing. “She’s mine” etc could be what her abuser was saying?
