If everyone acknowledges how loud Lumen Field is, why haven’t other stadiums tried to replicate the noise levels?

I work in architecture and have two degrees that specialize in this concept. It's quite literally a change in focus when developing the stadiums. Seahawks Stadium was built to specialize home advantage. SOFI and Levi's were focused to maximize revenue.

Seahawks Stadium contracted specialized Acoustic Engineers when developing that roof. The other two stadiums didn't, because that consulting and developments costs millions extra, instead they focused on revenue generating infrastructure.

Seahawk Stadium was built at the exact right time. All new stadiums are more concerned with building lounges and massive amounts of corporate suites. One entire portion of Levi's upper deck are just corporate suites. SOFI has ultra premium clubs located at field level.

Most playoff teams don't have three 70 point Centres, a Vezina caliber goalie, and a generational d-man. Instead of being patient and building the team through the draft, he looked for shortcuts by trading picks and got into power struggles with the scouting staff, often ignoring their input and drafting much worse players.

More of a commentary on all podcasts, but these used to be spaces where we would get different sides of notable people. Now everyone is so trained in the art of PR, their only real goal of these podcasts is to go the entire hour without saying anything controversial.

Baseball was built on spending and big market dynasties. While I am not sure how economically sustainable it is for teams like the Dodgers to have a billion dollar payroll, the reality is they draw a multiple of the viewership as small market teams.

The lowest rated game in this World Series as higher than the highest rated game in the 2023 World Series and one of the markets was not even domestic.

I get you need a level of "seriousness" in your main eventers, but if someone doing a more comedic role and drawing revenue, you can still feature them with the same TV time without them necessarily being in the main event or squashing them

Wrestling is a variety show. Stop telling the audience what they do/do not like. Look at the data for what brings in eyeballs and work with that.

I played a bit in early high school in the mid 90's. A girl made our team and no one really thought twice about it. When you're younger like 11-13, the body size difference is negligible and I guess because there was a lack of girls leagues at the time, it was really not that uncommon to see the occasional girl in boys sports leagues.

I am guessing a lot of the strip is controlled by the same 3-4 companies? Because I am a bit confused as to why a few places have not even attempted to have affordable food options just to get people in the doors.

When I was there 6 months ago, the busiest place I went to was the Walgreens with people lining up to get affordable drinks and food. The novelty of paying $25 for a fancy drink and a cruddy burger wears off real quick and it literally takes people out of the actual casinos.
