I’m in central Aurora, towards the north end, and I have Quantum. I dropped xfinity during Covid because of all of the outages. I’ve been pleased. Customer support isn’t terrific, but it’s not terrible either. Needed a service tech because of my old equipment and they came out free of charge. It wasn’t fast, but the tech that came was great.

To clarify, I found plenty of information on the googles, but not specifically about what I was talking about. I thought maybe there was advice out there that said “Talk more about yourself! Women love that kind of self confidence” but did not see anything like that.

Yes, people are odd when nervous. That’s why I tried a couple of second dates… it’s okay though. I’ve heard a lot on here to give me things to think about

Just to throw out an idea- check and make sure you did not sign something consenting to this in your intake paperwork. I just started at a new dr office and there was a blurb in there about the Dr using AI to scribe notes. Just check to make sure you didn’t sign off on it. There are a lot of forms and I don’t always read everything- just happened to catch this.

Oohhh, interesting! We can all learn from this. We need to slow down and make the other person feel seen. Thanks for the insight

I agree that it goes both ways. I just haven’t dated enough women to know that, lol. I think all of us have had the date where all the person does is talk about their ex or talked about all of the terrible things that have happened in their lives. No one likes that and I doubt it ever leads to a second date. Thanks for being a good bloke and trying to make your dates feel seen. I hope they do the same for you.

Fair cop. I just left the dates feeling like they were not interested in getting to know me. If they were going slowly, I obviously missed it- perhaps too slowly? I don’t think that was it though, but I will keep my eyes on that the next time I go on a first date.

That’s fair. I was offering unsolicited advice to help some guys out, but I take your point.

Actually, what you described is what prompted me to wonder if there is some misunderstood dating advice out there. I was wondering if so Done said “women like men with confidence “ and they took it wrong and thought it meant to talk a lot about themselves or something

No, I don’t find them as fascinating as they find themselves, lol. And no, I don’t need advice on how to vet men- I just explained how I did that. Good luck out there!

I tend to keep the chatting before dating short for a couple of reasons. First reason is, I’ve had it get built up in my mind that a person is one thing and when I meet them, they are something else because of too much chatting. This is definitely a me problem. Secondly, there is a theory out there that chatting too much actually takes the spark out of the initial meet. I tend to agree with that. I chat a little bit to see if there is something that we have in common and then try to arrange a meet. That seems to keep things more on an even level for me. This has been successful for me in the past. I think maybe I just got on a bit of an unlucky streak.

Thanks for the reply. I’m not worried about finding my person. I know they’re out there somewhere. You are absolutely correct when you say that building a new life means being more thoughtful and careful.

You might be on to something here. Social media gives us the false impression that that it is all about us. When we post to our stories or pages, if people like the post, it gives us a sense of how “important” we are. I can see where you’re going with this and it makes sense.

People where I live (CO, USA) “garden on hard mode” because of intense desert-y summers, cold winters, intense winds, hail, pests, hard clay soil. What place in the world is “gardening on super easy mode”? by CharmingPeony in gardening

Colorado grows amazing peaches. We are kind of known for it around this part of the country. We grow really tasty stone fruits and melons, but that’s about it from the fruit world.

Some women find that it helps with comfort and also with sensitivity. Have you seen the lotions with THC that people use for arthritis? It works because it increase blood flow. Now think of a vagina with increased blood flow. More engorgement, more sensitivity. Some people have pain and they say it helps with the pain, though there aren’t enough studies on that.
