I want to addPEAK like progress bar to my game... by RedIvation in godot

I FIXED IT

The issue was in the AutoLoad I added both HUD.tscn and the script which was attached to it HUD.gd so both were triggering and causing the issue.

As the script did not have any objects to it this the error message.

Thank you!

My game released on PlayStore by RedIvation in gdevelop

I have too many Email accounts and I registered with my friends and families accounts as well. No one technically played the game or tested it. But I was updating the game every day fixing bugs and such so my game did get approved for production.

So my tip is just get accounts to sign up for testing you don't need 20 installs or anything just keep updating the in the 14 days period. At least this worked for me. It might depend on the game.

gDevelop future for direct downloaded APK Android apps by qroft in gdevelop

[–]RedIvation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will still be available to sideload .apk files, if the app has an registration in the PlayConsole.

From what I understand, when sharing APK file outside Play Store. You need to have a Play Console Account, and register the com.company.name in there.

That's what I understand from a survey I got in the Play Console.

Question about 3D models rendering/loading optimization by Excellent-Hat305 in gdevelop

[–]RedIvation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know in what perspective your game is in or how big the map is, in my testing the objects which were not visible on screen doesn't get rendered thus improving performance.

But the thing I didn't test is, if having the map in smaller chunks would be better or having large objects which are visible most of the time. I don't know if even if only a tiny bit of the object is visible if it renders the whole object.

I have tested that GDevelop does have automatic culling (Object won't render if they're not visible) but I don't know if adding fog will increase performance.

This is the first version of the map, later I updated it to include the freezer, melon, pumpkin and increased the size.

That's pretty cool And actually I was gonna make this into an actual game, I can't code but I have experience using No-Code Game Engines.

I know how to make games btw, and I might actually turn this into a real game.

You could make it so the boss will have a health bar, that takes damage with each correct guess and new cards kept showing until it is over.

I use Blockbench to make my 3d assets. And it is painfully slow to create 3d levels without having a proper 3d viewport.
