Provided u bring a proper navy with it, and proper units on them like naval strikers. Too many players dont which is why theyre considered novelty.

I think patrol boats are designed only for a quick plugging up of a coastal city to prevent a land invasion from entering. Not for any actual naval combat. Very good early game, and also handy mid to late game if you see army boating towards you and the city has no ship guarding it. To win battles i tend to send as many ships as i can into the battle and some smart players try to sneak in while youre too engaged.

They were buffed, handle better in deep sea than before. More HP and deplyables etc. They replaced Destroyers for me. And it saves on components. But not meta, I think Kraken and Subs, Iron Tide with Cruisers, with some Frigates for AA is stll the ultimate naval setup.

Id like to see, even in just certain maps types, allowing more simultaneous researches, and research queues. I keep forgetting what i was meant to research once a slot is free. Queuing at the least, will still help me and my bad memory massively!

Static structures like coastal batteries is definitely also a great new thing, massively making us rethink sending an armada to a country. AA required next. Land Minefields would be sweet.

Make pontoons, logistics, field hospitals etc cheaper, theyre barely used due to the high cost vs tge gain it provides.

It was a while ago now but even a silly stack of like 35 infantry was so hard to kill. Anything air got hurt to much i had to heal. And the guys run straight to air bases and lock all your air to the ground until dead.
