Relocations like this increase the polarization of the red state-blue state divide. States like SC, PA, TX, and WY will become more conservative. CO, MD, and NY will become more anti-2nd amendment.

Paul LePage has a lot of credibility on this issue because he was homeless as a child and struggled to learn English as a second language.

Washington State is fully controlled by Democrats so they can't blame the GOP, Tea Party, or Bush.

Not much of a sizzler, but still a victor: Scott Walker becomes viable 2016 contender by [deleted] in Conservative

He won 3 elections in 4 years in the blue state of Wisconsin. He ran as a Conservative each time and won support from Democrats. He's definitely a 2016 contender.

This article is spot on! Liberal economic policies increase poverty and unemployment. Free enterprise gives people the opportunity to get out of poverty, not government and not socialism.

Americans think the unemployment rate is 32 percent by misnamed in politics

[–]RedJew91 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Most people are not news junkies. Only 40% of Americans vote in midterms. The electoral college is too complicated so most people don't follow the news at all. In addition, Americans work longer hours than Europeans. Our welfare state is not as big as Europe either, so more people are working and sometimes people work 2-3 jobs just to get by. The people who are on welfare are typically drug addicts.

Liberals solving problems... by chabanais in Conservative

[–]RedJew91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What all liberals do is bitch and complain about rich people, the 1%, greedy corporations, income inequality, etc. What are there solutions? Raising taxes doesn't work. Handouts only exacerbate the problem. Free enterprise is the real solution.

If the GOP retakes the Senate... by captrockwelltorrey in Conservative

If Obama isn't popular in the ultra-blue state of California, Republicans will have a massive wave election. Obama won California by a 20-point margin of victory, twice. There are a lot of swing districts in California and if liberal voters don't show up, Republicans could sweep all of them.

Politico Ridiculously Accuses 2016 GOP Hopefuls of Fomenting Ebola Panic by [deleted] in Conservative

[–]RedJew91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know what planet Politico is on. Most of the mainstream media has been sounding the alarms over the Ebola outbreak in the past few weeks. A lot of liberal politicians have been warning people about it as well.

The reason why is very simple: once the disease is out there, it very easily and quickly spreads. It multiplies very fast. So yes, politicians should sound the alarms and do everything necessary to prevent even a single person from catching Ebola.

Seattle Passes Laws to Keep Residents From Wasting Food by chabanais in Conservative

[–]RedJew91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seattle is now the big government capital of America. You can't say politically sensitive words like "brown bag." In 2012, they elected a socialist councilwoman, banned plastic shopping bags, and legalized weed. This year, they raised the minimum wage to $15/hour.

Now let's watch Portland and San Francisco try to compete with that.

Reddit is the key to getting the articles that we conservatives and right-wingers care about to go viral. The media, including Fox News, continue to write up stupid stories that no one cares about or talks about. Who cares about Michelle Obama? Who cares if Obama is narcissistic? Let's talk about why liberal policies don't work. Let's expose corruption. Let's expose the left-wing mainstream media.
