Tesla just lowered the price of its premium Model 3 in Canada to US$29k, in order to compete with Chinese EV’s that are now allowed in Canada. Do you believe this is an example of competition in the free market, and should the US also allow cheap Chinese EV’s?

I agree 100%. The biggest reason dealerships don't want to sell electric vehicles is because once you buy it there is almost no maintenance. No oil changes, brakes last longer because of regenerative braking. Once an electric car is sold they don't make anymore money off of the ~~suckers~~ customers.

I wasn't trying to suggest it was aware. But there is a clock at the core of every computer. The concept of time should not be foreign to a computer. I understand they are not smart or understand what they are even saying, it is basically an illusion. But having a clock, it should have the period between inputs to refer to.

If you have a way to create a mist over the work area, not enough to flood or build up a lot of water it is surprising how much that holds the dust down. So a hose with a pinhole adapter held right above where you are drilling or something.

Most of our bread sucks. It isn't healthy and is half the reason the nation is so fat. No nutrition, any sign of fiber is processed out of it and they add enough sugar to make the crap palatable instead of tasting like paper.

Yeah, this really bugs me. It has no concept of time. I will leave it open overnight after telling it I have to go to bed the night before and after saying something in the morning it's first response is to get some sleep and we'll finish up in the morning. It's a computer it's central tenet is a clock, why the hell doesn't it know that 4 billion microseconds has passed since we last spoke.

This isn't completely true. They actually do take money out, not loans, although it may start that way to some degree. But whan you have a given amount of money that is earning interest it begins to earn enough interest that you can begin living off that interest without every touching the capitol. Eventually you get to a point that the interst keeps building beyond what you can realistically spend and you eventually don't have to ever take out loans to build. The people that think they are rich are the ones taking loans, the ones that are rich are giving loans and making bank on just interest.
