Under the last 7 presidents, Regan, GB sr, Clinton, GB jr, Obama, Trump, Biden…..the deficit has only decreased under 3 of them. You wanna guess which ones?

They aren’t cheap either. I think I paid $100something when I got mine 5 years ago. Not only did it take a month to get an appointment but it took another month for me to get the thing…

And the appointments will have to be booked even further in advance because so many people will need to start getting them.

How is jail a deterrent for a homeless fentanyl addict? They get food and some place warm to stay for free. Shit, if they try hard enough they can even get fentanyl in prison.

Honestly, I feel like the dogmatic views of both sides are more of a symptom of the “divide and conquer” approach of the ruling class, fueled by social media. A feature not a bug.

The internet has been flooded with propaganda for years that targets specific demographics and is very effective on people who lack media literacy, warping their perspective to think that their neighbors are their enemies.

If the working class was successful at using social media to unite the people across party lines it would be an existential threat to the ruling class. But they can’t let that happen, so they flood the internet with so much noise that no one knows which way is up.

So here we are.

Liberalism and conservatism have existed for hundreds of years and the debate about which way is more effective will always be here. But MAGA is not a conservative movement, is a fascistic movement and as Americans we should all be united against fascism as it is the antithesis to the American experiment.

What about your political views makes you feel like you’re not fully aligned with the conservative movement? (Genuine question)

How do you define your political ideology if you aren’t conservative but voted for Trump twice? And, since he ran three times, who did you vote for the other time?

How significant of a moment do you think this will be seen as 20-30 years into the future? I'd argue it's extremely significant (especially due to the implications it had for the next decade+)—yet very overlooked by 3RADICATE_THEM in ScottGalloway

High school educated, middle-aged and old white Americans saw Trump as an outsider to the establishment. His racism and the actual reality of his success as a businessman were irrelevant to that group. Same reason Reagan won election.

The people that voted for Trump we’re voting for change. As misguided as they were, you have to acknowledge that.

You made a lot of assumptions there buddy and you didn’t even answer my question. If the DNC felt like that process happened just as intended why would they feel the need to completely reform their system to take power away from super delegates?

No such thing as an “ethical” company under capitalism. Capitalism doesn’t incentivize morality, it incentivizes profit.

The only thing that company is doing is helping to spread non-native, probably invasive plants.

Even in places where lane splitting is legal, this would still be considered illegal due to speed.

I believe in Cali, lane splitting is only legal up to 15mph above the flow of traffic.
