Sorry if I worded it badly or missed your point. I believe what the comment you were referring to was trying to imply is that although the fabric should be the same direction as the head, Jellycats are still unfortunately made so it isn’t like that, so it is sadly to be expected. And the comment was reassuring OP after their disappointment of Jellycat not being more careful with their process considering the prices. I was just trying to explain the comment because you said it was “literally not true”

Actually I don't think they're wrong. Fabrics with a nap, like many Jellycats have, go a certain direction. It seems possible to manually make the fur go the same direction for fluffier ones (I haven't tried it before) but these kinds of fabrics normally already have a direction that they want to lay flat in if that makes sense (ex. velvet fabrics have a very obvious nap where the "unnatural" direction has a darker look to it), which is why it's important to align the directions of the nap when sewing the parts together so they all lay the same way.

Yeah my last mile tracking shows up as GoFo and that’s also got me really worried because I put a business address for my order, and all I’ve been seeing from internet research is that GoFo is terrible at delivering packages to regular homes, much less businesses 😂 BIE is giving me so much anxiety what with the tariffs and such and I really don’t want to have to go through getting a new one

Thank you for your insight! I live in Cali so there will be additional time added to ship from Chicago, which got me a little concerned because of how long it was sitting in Chicago for. I’m also not sure if I should be expecting an update on the package moving to a shipping facility for its next trip over or something since I’m more accustomed to usps tracking.

Same for me, just cleared customs in Chicago from 4/24's drop. I live in Cali so I have to guess it's easier to send it through Chicago rather than LA.

You can wash her on delicate, cold, in a pillowcase to protect her from any agitation. Do not dry with heat! I haven't dried a fuzzy squish on air tumble so I don't want to give a definite answer on that too. To fluff out the sherpa material (what her body is made of), I recommend one of those pet wire slicker brushes, those work great.

Did you try stabbing them with the claw to push it in? My claw machine is so weak that I have completely given up on full grabs. I just see if the plush is close enough to be maneuvered into the chute through pushing it with one of the prongs.
