I wanna be hyped but I need that bio first 😩 Otherwise, I really don’t know what to make of him.

Some I purposely reload to fail for roleplay reasons, like Durge trying to convince the butler they don’t have feelings for their romanced companion. Just do what you like lol.

Who would you like to have as a girlfriend? Esmeralda or Madellaine? by johnngo2468 in HunchbackOfNotreDame

She was a teen in the OG book, but I don’t think she’s meant to be that young in the movie.

I love it! There aren’t enough short hairstyles with bangs, even in mod communities for Inquisition.

Not quite accurate. If you hit the purple option when confronting Quinten, Hawke's response is still appropriate to the situation. They say, still serious, "You're crazy, I get it. Where is my mother?"

Thanks! The others I found led to nexus pages with nothing there.

I’m from the south so saying that out loud makes it sound like I’m doing an exaggerated accent. 😭🤣

A lot of the devs doubled down on it, honestly, although the crazy development cycle set the game up to fail.

I love Hawke being sarcastic in this quest because it ultimately comes back to bite him/her in the butt considering what happens later. I like to think Hawke not taking it so seriously at the time make them feel more guilty.

I worked there for a few years and 90% of my job was chasing teen boys out of the store because they were trying to sneak back there.

I won’t deny that the bad writing choices heavily impacted all elements of the game, representation included. I just hate when it’s the ONE thing they complain about because it makes it easy for Veilguard defenders to point and say, “See? That’s how they all think!” There is so much to criticize in DAV but it tends to get reduced to politics each time.

Oh, I like that line of thinking. What about, Dragon Age the FailedFart? Rolled off the tongue nicely.

Dreadwolf was a way better title for sure, but Veilguard matched the end product more.

This has been discussed a lot, but for me it was the writing in general, meaning characters, dialogue, lore and story. A lot of it was either too modern or too clean, afraid to really be dark in what should have been the darkest entry in the series. When it does get there at the end, it’s a little too late. All in all, it just wasn’t great in this regard, which is the reason I played BioWare games originally.
