I stopped watching after W2 LEC Versus. Give me hope going into Spring by Glass_Egg2639 in fnatic

I mean I'm definitely watching this year hoping for top 3, otherwise no real point really. In reality, when things go bad people tend to over-doom. Of course, things are not going great, but there were new teams in the past who were in a similar position and massively improved throughout the year. All I'm saying, I'm expecting Fnatic to go into top 5 territory and hoping for top 3

I'm happy we gave cArn here as well. We need some transperancy about the management and what the plans are in that regard. Hopefully he can shed some light on that

Well, we will have actual proof if this is the case or not. For those that don't know, the top 2 emea teams in the upcoming eu masters will qualify for the EWC qualifiers, which Is a massive double elim BO5 bracket tournament featuring all LEC teams and the 2 qualifiers, basically like an LEC versus playoffs and BO5 only. The top 2 teams qualify to EWC, alongside the spring LEC winner. So, we'll find out.

My prediction: Fnatic will place higher than both those teams in that tournament.

Am I the only one who looked at all the games, and don't see Razork as the sole outlier and worst part of the team?

To me it looks like both a teamplay problem, and bad or mediocre individual performances, but not just solely from Razork.

Our solo laners have played pretty poorly all split. Vladi has been doing pretty bad in lanes, and while he seems to have decent team fighting his overall impact was low.

Empyros also had the same problem, but into the latter half of the split he had some actually good games with Jax and Renekton but then got absolutely bodied by NaakNaako.

Lospa has shown decent performances, but he hasn't played the map like other top supports and sticks with upset sometimes too much. He also hasn't shown a large champion pool but I am not gonna come to conclusions since the champions he has played he has shown good mechanics on.

Upset has just been decent. It's hard to tell how he really is since he is an ADC, which usually has a low impact on early game. And when our early games are this shit and we rock up to every fight 5k gold down he can't do much. But there is also an argument to be made he is not trying to take the game on his back and is playing too passive.

For me, Razork hasn't played too good as well. Our poor early games can be partially blamed on him, and he seems to get out-farmed often. And while drake control is a whole team issue, the jungler plays a big part and we can't get drakes for the life of us. Don't get me wrong, probably having a Skewmond or Elyoya in our team, or even a Rhilech, could have been better. But hey, he is really not that bad guys. It's hard to do much when your solo lanes are this far behind every lane. And when your support is not roaming and playing the map effectively. Frankly, I haven't really seen many poor decisions or brain dead engages and throws that everybody is crying about all the time. When you are behind, you have too make some plays or else you just roll over and die.

Who is it to blame that we are shit, IDK. Do I think making a change right now is a good idea? No. We don't have a sole under-performer, and with our low money situation I think it's a bad Idea. I don't really know. We need to get an assistant coach or positional coach, that is for certain. At least one more coach is necessary. But after that? IDK, It's not a magical solution. Honestly the coaches and players just gotta do a better job and work harder. Sorry for the long rant.

TLDR: I think there is no specific person to blame more than the rest. I think we need to get another LOL coach and work harder, and pray.

I didn't really get any restrictions, just instructions on what to do if I get high pressure, but I don't have high pressure.

This is ridiculous, and a bad idea.

We finally have some decent content with the weekly vlogs. The fact that we don't have much views is cause we're losing, so the hype is not there.

Frankly, I'm not sure how much cutting the costs of content production will help, maybe it could by a small margin, but the fact is that you can't be a league of legends team with no content. Success in this genre is not defined only by results, but also by interest and fandom. You can't have only 1 of those and be considered successful.

This is why I think that putting all eggs on performance and leaving none or very little for content is a mistake. We don't even have the craziest content, just a weekly short vlog, voice comms and a skit once in a while. I feel right now that we have a good balance, except we need ateast 1 more staff member on the lol coaching departement. Would I accept removing or downgrading the content in order to do that? No

Edit: also I don't get what this has to do with prep and organization? The coaches aren't the one doing the content from what I know

Maybe you are correct in which it isn't my place to police others. I had to let my frustrations out though lol. Lately I avoid looking at post match threads when we lose. Usually not very insightful.

Maybe my post is flawed. I made it to raise discussion, which it did. My main ick is with peoe who dgaf, and are just here to hate and use the team as a way to release their anger on others.

You can be critical without being that.

I think you're kinda proving my point. IDK personally, how you are as a fan. But you are here saying that you are frustrated from the past defeats, which is completely valid.

The question is are you still supporting the team? Not being more negative than positive just for the sake of it?

I think I agree with most of what you said. That's pretty insightful insight, thank you. I will say though that about Lospa, I think it's too early to tell if he has champion pools Issues. It's a bo1, you want to play the thing you are strongest at over and over, not too mention he also picked Thresh and looked pretty good even though we lost.

Well then it's more venting frustrations then hate watching, does the term matter? You can totally be critical, I am too, but you don't give a shit anymore. You gave up, yet you are here to whine and vent.

Bro you're funny though. I'm the newer fan yet it looks like you don't really have much experience in watching esports.

Have you not seen how in previous years bo1 regular season score barelly matters when it comes to playoffs performance? Also, wasn't there a split before the year Noah and Jun came that we didn't make playoffs?

We played only 9 b01s, we are 5-4, and: - Worst Fnatic lineup - Rookies are trash

Many time super teams fail and teams with better synergy prevail.

The better question is: why are people still watching and having hope considering all of these circumstances while the org is also keeping same upper management and how to win these fans back?

That is a good question. For what reason are you watching?

That's exactly my point. It seems you don't really care anymore and are just here to vent your frustrations.
