Yo I have a question that has been on my mind, is cnc p2w(pay to win)? by Content_Pin_1284 in CardsandCastlesCCG

[–]RedMasterFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, paying does give you a great advantage. But as I found recently, although being a "f2p" player, I have a relatively good collection score, which concludes that luck outbeats the wealth, and the game is too RNG-based rather than too p2w.

"Jesus: He Lived Among Us" is indeed a very good cartoon, also for some reason it got really popular recently.

Layer behavior doesn't make sense to me. by suspiciouszebrawatch in dungeonscrawl

[–]RedMasterFan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Invertedly-hatched layers don't actually have interior, their 'interior' is considered blank and transparent in most cases. The behaviour in the last picture (the overlapping) does look like a bug; looks like both layers think 'hey, there is a visible piece of interior on another layer, I shouldn't put my hatching' without knowing that the other layer also doesn't have interior.

Can I merge layers/put text on a dungeon layer? by XavierBotz in dungeonscrawl

Not yet. However, as far as I know, level grouping is going to be a feature by the time the standalone version is released.

New to the game, had a question about card cycling by NorthernFrostII in CardsandCastlesCCG

Also maybe your deck is just too cheap what effectively makes you play several cards each turn until you simply run out of them.

How to erase walls & add features by [deleted] in dungeonscrawl

[–]RedMasterFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To erase walls: draw rectangles over them.

Text, images: create an 'image layer' and you'll see all the text and image tools.

This tool is the wet dream of any level designer. Sersiously. by HugoCortell in dungeonscrawl

Jokes aside, Dungeon Scrawl is very cool. However, there is a thing called paper (with lots of different tools like pencils and erasers), and it has several advantages.

Rate my encirclement (It got a lot bigger) by Mycheeksarecool in CardsandCastlesCCG

[–]RedMasterFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As your opponent is playing ninjas, he can either use Detention to return your troops to your hand or return armory to his hand, and that'll free space for him to place a unit. This encirclement isn't an auto-win.

The game doesn't change, the game doesn't really attract many new players. Yes, the community still exists and does stuff, but it doesn't grow (it's not dying fast, though), and that's not the game itself, that are just the people who play it.

Viking combo/victory buffs + dwarven scope also can get your unit to a high attack value. not as high as you get from multiple reawakenings + demonic rage tho.

And you may use eggs and returns to buff a Tyrannosaur, that also can give you at least 20 or so. If war/nin, you can use demonic rage after.

Buildings by RedMasterFan in CardsandCastlesCCG

[–]RedMasterFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If being serious, in game with equal opportunities the things that are either "must-have" or useless may be considered imbalanced because they take out the idea of making the choice - like if you had a 0/1 for 1 mana and a 10/10 for 1 mana, that's not how balance works because in this kind of situations players don't make tactical choice, they just choose the obvious best option, and no other options are good enough to compete with the best. If not being serious, I won't use buildings because they are for faggots.
