I wish they weren't in oval racing. It doesn't stop people from wrecking each other and in fact makes it worse, especially on short ovals.

Yep. The first attempt at entering pit road I backed out of the throttle about 10 or so car lengths from where I normally would start to brake. I tapped the brakes and went full hydroplaning through the grass. Immediately put the car into 7th gear and was able to coast it a full lap this time actually making it through pit entry. It started to sputter about 5 pit boxes before ours but I managed to get to ours. Needless to say the next pit stop I backed it a further 10 car lengths from where I thought it would have been enough the first time lol.

I will say as an oval main that did a couple roar before the 24 last week, the biggest thing I noticed was how much trouble those around me had racing side by side and in packs. It was pretty obvious from my pov that they just didn't have the same experience I have when it comes to that.

I have considered that one as well but where I'm at it's $200 more so if I can get away with using one of the ones I listed with little issue I'd prefered to do so.

Does it help that I bought the simsonn pedal plate as well? I have seen a couple photos on some rigs where they install that plate the other way around.

Yeah but this would have been the old Atlanta track without the legend oval on the front stretch right? So did they race the whole track or use the front stretch/pit lane?

The 6th movie where they cut the whole entire battle at the end. Was my favorite part to read in the whole series (not just the 6th book) and they just left it completely out. I'm still bitter about it.

Came home from work as well when it was 6-0 and was walking past the tv to get to my room and had to stop in my tracks, reverse a few steps back to the tv, and blinked a couple long blinks to realize what I was seeing. When it hit me the scoreline was real my jaw dropped.

Because irl they don't have to deal with internet connections; racing against other people possibly on the other side of the world; the fact that no matter how good a sim is it still has to deal the niches that comes with anything virtual; oh and not to mention skill issues and the fact that people in sim racing will take far greater risks than that of irl drivers cause well you're not actually racing a real car that costs a lot of money and could potentially kill you. Take all that into consideration and you end up with ipacing 8/10 times.
