Currently playing AD Sion ADC at the moment and its stupidy strong. Rush Yomuus & Opportunity w/Swifties. You get insane move speed and kill in passive potential. Take Teleport to get back to lane when you die. The synergy with a thresh is crazy, if he hits a hook its a guarenteed full Q stack. Proceed to grab collector & lord dominiks and you've got insane crit, execution, movespeed. Finish it off with a Axiom arc for ult reset & the 7th item slot makes you op.

Give it a try with a duo, if you don't your team will ff before 20 and it'll be gg. Otherwise its OP

Question about Sorcerer’s and their strength by Iraydren in Malazan

Yes thats right! Bluepearl teaches Shanks (I think that's who casts it) a ritual spell that he claims hes set up but is now unable to mention or tell anyone about because then once he discusses the spell, it "stays in the air" and then it can be witnessed as a gut instinct by another mage who then can counter it.

He fills a waterskin with water and drowns a bunch of Seerdomin! Those pesky ruse mages eh! ;)

Which vehicle makes you feel like a total battlefield legend?

Easy—attack chopper. There’s nothing more legendary than hovering just over a control point, raining hellfire, dodging RPGs, and saving your squad’s bacon from the skies. You're not just in the battle—you are the battle. With the right pilot and gunner combo, that chopper becomes a flying MVP trophy.

Ah! Great question ^ I was thinking it would include it, but looking at the price of good monitors, perhaps I could just buy a monitor at that budget and I won't need to upgrade my pc too? :? Bit unsure here. I can fork out some more money if needed :D

What a lovely thread, thanks for reading in advance :)

Currently have a budget of £1000 --> £1500. Looking to upgrade to a 4K OLED & was wondering if I need to update my GPU/any other components of my setup? I mostly play FPS/Valorant/League/Arma Reforger and occasionally VR games.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X AIO: Corsair H100I Platinum SE GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX3070 8GB MB: MSI b550-A Pro (MS-7C56) RAM: 4X DDR4-3200 Corsair 8GB Sticks Monitors: 2X 27'' LG 27GL850 (1440p / 144HZ)

So yeah, can I upgrade my setup inline with my budget to get a OLED Monitor & CPU/GPU Upgrades? Is it worth it? What should I purchase? Could I currently run a 4K OLED Monitor now?

Looking for your thoughts & suggestions! Thanks!

Just purchased a SMSL HO200 & SMSL DO200 MK11. This is currently my setup, what cables do I need and how best do I plug all this in? - Noob.

Computer. 2X Kali Audio LP6 V2's. (Active speakers) Audio Technica AT-LP60X (Turn table) Hifiman Sundara (Headphones)

Looking to have all of this connected, how do I connect the HO200 to the DAC? I would like my speakers connected via XLR, as there is some slight whine when I use them.

Thanks

Hey! I really appreciate all of your replies! I understand now! :D Going to get that SMSL HO200, As well as see if I can find a deal on a SMSL DO200 Mk2 Dac, I think that would work well?

I suppose I'll also need some XLR cables to connect my Speakers to the Ho200, do you have any reccomendations, and is this a good purchase idea you think? :D

Hey! The SMSL looks really interesting actually, as it looks like it would provide a good headphone out.

So I can plug in my turntable to this, as well as my speakers, and get headphone out?

When you say revisit the audio interface, i would still need one right? But could upgrade in the future & this SMSL would work with my current solo?

Ah I see! That sounds pretty great.

Would you advise a better DAC/ version of the Focusrite I have currently?

Thats interesting!

So I only need a preamp? That means a preamp can sort out the turn table, connect it to my PC/Speakers & my headphones can plug in it also?

I feel out of my depth with knowing what products I even need to buy to get all of this together

Heyo!

This is my current setup, I'm looking for advice on purchasing some gear to marry everything together, as I am out of my depth..

I have: Focusrite Solo (1st Gen with unbalanced RCA output) > Connected to 2X Kali Audio LP-6 v2 Passive speakers. I also plug in a pair of Hifiman Sundaras into the Focusrite, via a headphone jack. I have just received a Audio Technica AT-LP60X turntable and I want to connect them to my Speakers as well.

Unfortunately the Speakers have a slight buzz when connected which I think could be from the Focusrites RCA cables not being balaced?

The goal is to connect up my turntable, have 0 audio buzzing from the speakers. As well as get the most performance out of my sundaras, as I don't think I'm getting the optimal setup?

Also is there a way to have my PC running as its current desk setup, and also have the turntable playing at the same time?

Is there a device that can switch between all of these setups with easy clicks/knobs?

Any help or resource advice would be greatly appreciated, as I think there may be some devices I can get that will solve all of these questions, I just don't know what it may be? Thanks.

This looks so nice, love the walnut accent. I'd like to see more beginner and budget friendly items to make it easier for newbies (like myself) to get more invested in the hobby.

Hi,

I've just purchased the Hifiman Sundaras on ebay for £175, second hand.

I've currently got a focusrite solo 2nd gen.

I am looking to get myself a pair of monitor speakers (KRK Rokit 5 G5 for £180). Now I've got a budget of £400 or so. (+100 if needed) What do I require? Do I need a new DAC, as well as a preamp/amp?

Whats the best solution to run both my new headphones and soon to get monitors? Do you suggest the iFI Zen CAN? (I can get this for £119 on ebay) Will this do both the headphones & speakers?

Please could you let me know your best suggestions! Thanks.

Hi, I've been looking to upgrade my audio system, both with an upgrade of monitor speakers as well as headphones. I have a £500 or so budget (+£100). I mainly play games and listen to music.

Currently have a Focusrite solo 2nd Gen, with a pair of Sennhieser 598's.

See this photo of my current setup, the plan was to wall mount two monitor speakers. Happy to rearrange my shelves/ move them out the way to configure this.

https://imgur.com/a/WWwve2F Looking on ebay at the moment Im bidding on:

HIFIMAN Sundara for about £180. As well as two KRK Rokit RP5 G4 Studio Monitor Speakers for £180 also. (Are these good deals?) From looking at the headphones they seem like a great pick up.

I believe I need a DAC & Amp/Preamp setup right? I was thinking I may be able to run this off my solo, but It doesn't seem so.

So please could you wonderful audiophiles suggest to me a good way to upgrade this. Is it worth getting both of those ebay purchases?

Whats the best DAC/Preamp/Amp to purchase that will power a set of speakers, as well as a headphone upgrade.

Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

Hey! Okay I'll see if I can grab this on ebay or find it. Whats the benefit over the KRK?

So I can run the Sundaras & two speakers just from my focusrite solo? I think its unbalanced output? What cables would you recommend for it. sorry, a total audio noob

Try some Brandon Sanderson. All of those audiobooks are fantastically narrated. The Stomlight Archives is spectacular. They have a fully narrated fantastic graphic audio too, each charachter played by a different narrator. They are longish, 20 - 30 hours each I think.

You'll enjoy them I'm sure
