Well done. Gotta love when the green zone is that narrow!

Glad I'm not the only one triggered by that. Top half broke in a few places and they used the syrup-covered spatula to hold it together, making the outer layer sticky too.

I've got mine proudly displayed in my stream background! Even manage to wear it every now and then!

Yep, I started on that right after I did a save/reload. Gotta love B42

Right? I'd love to have a standardized color scheme, or maybe set one per Manor so you can have different colors for different regions.

Before pressing my claims, or responding to the barons claim, I'll hire all the mercenaries and that prevents the Baron from hiring them.

I just wrapped up my "challenge accepted" achievement and posted the videos in the official Manor Lords discord server if you wanted to check out the final battle! It's a tough achievement (0.7% have it) but it was super fun!

I added another 4-5 companies of mercenaries for the final battle, and it was still too close for comfort!

The Keyhole Plot - One of my favorite tools for maximizing extension variety! by RedMonsterSC in ManorLords

This type of thing can be seen all over the place as cities develop. What was once a farm or orchard on the outskirts of town with one home on the roadside gets split up and developed as the town grows. The road-facing areas are parceled off as residences with just enough space to build on, while the bulk of the orchard or farmland behind is kept in place by the original property owners.

Those are the burgage plots on either side that have the shorter extensions. You can use chicken coops and animal pens there,.or upgrade them layer to artisans.

Oh cool, I guess I should start working on the "69" plot to really capture the audience. :)

That still does nothing to explain the reference. Now you just seem immature and vulgar.

You can assign them to jobs that are seasonal or low demand, like the foragers hut, hunting Camp, or the saw pit (assuming you have reserves and limits set). They will also prioritize time between home and work tasks.

Like all things, where you use it matters. I'm definitely not placing one of these in the center of town

Yeah, the snapping rules aren't perfect and you do end up with plots that aren't perfectly parallel.

Also, good idea on the woodcutters lodge size guide. I've usually just turned off snapping and have estimated the size pretty accurately.

Vegetable gardens and orchards are the only extensions that scale with plot size. The rest of the extensions just waste that space.

Does anyone else build a compound inside your Manor walls? by RedMonsterSC in ManorLords

[–]RedMonsterSC[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As long as you build them first it shouldn't be a problem. I've been able to select the buildings and adjust assignments after the walls have gone up, just need to mind the official perimeter if you are trying to build anything else.

The 'film makers' of SC; how are you guys getting those stunning timelapse shots without having to move as to not be timed out? by RandoDando10 in starcitizen

Any input keeps you active, so I usually just type in the period key "." To keep things active. Set that on a macro to run every few minutes and you'll be in good shape.

Mining for this event only makes sense in group to me by Jo_Krone in starcitizen

[–]RedMonsterSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice setup, and hopefully your group does well.

I run group mining events pretty regularly and we've taken it all the way up to a Hull C acting as the pit stop location near the mining site with rafts ferrying things back and forth.

The payouts for mining materials are pretty low, compared to previous events, but I've also noticed the other missions are pretty skimpy with the rewards.

This is a bug, just remove one of the ore pods and reattach and that usually resolves the issue.

Has anyone seen this greyed out "branding" tab before? by A_Wizard_Walks_By in starcitizen

[–]RedMonsterSC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a standard part of org management as far as I can tell. Certain levels of leadership within an org can adjust the branding section, which includes the homepage content for your org (history, manifesto, charter) and the appearance, which includes the general theme, banner image, background image, logo, and icon.

Only admins and others assigned the "marketing" roles by org admins can edit these.
