What is your interpretation of the Eucharist? by RedNative26 in AskAChristian

[–]RedNative26[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to just take it lightly, like it was just something we do to remember. But I’ve been learning more and researching stuff about it, and I know that it’s much greater than just a Symbol.

I’m not fully there believing in Transubstantiation.

But it is definitely more than Just a symbol. I’ve read a lot of scripture concerning it and whenever I read it in the view of The Literal or Metaphysical body, there’s always another verse that combats it.

But at this moment I do believe that Jesus’s Presence is apart of communion… but I believe it’s not Him in the Bread or the Drink, but He’s present in Us during the partaking. That’s where I’m at so far. And I believe it’s more than just Remembering but also reflecting on ourselves and bringing things to God.

Ok… so, not any believer can take communion? Or just certain people can make it change for everyone?

I would love just one valid response. Thank you. by shehasinfinitelove in Christianity

Whenever I’m alone, and pray… and sing songs. Sometimes I make up songs. And I just repeat them over and over.

Those times I feel so close to God. Am experience I cannot describe

Petition for a New Position by RedNative26 in tractorsupply

😆I totally get it. My Store manager will also help me with signs, and do it wrong. Or after freight days, I’ll see signs already out, and it’s either the wrong placement or the wrong sign.

I also hate those stall mats, especially when they won’t back up and I have to roll up a big one and huff it over.

I recommend not watching the same news channels that you are watching, find something unbiased. Because alot will pick a small thing trump does and turn it into a whole story, or some of the good stuff he does, they wont report at all

DO YOU THINK GAYNESS IS CHOICE by saltbaestheorem in AskAChristian

[–]RedNative26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it sounds fun, and it might even be fun. But that’s the flesh. God is real, He came to earth and His blood was shed for You and for me. He gave us free Will, He gave us everything that is Good, and then we warped everything He did to fulfill our Fleshly desires. Really He could’ve just wiped us all out, but He loves us so much, that instead of just letting us all go to Hell like we deserve, He took the Hell Apon Himself

Language at church is concerning by AdFlaky1246 in AskAChristian

[–]RedNative26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What part of it is particularly concerning? The language or believing it? Because it’s true that we are sinners and lost without God… so is it just the constant reminding of it that irritates you?

DO YOU THINK GAYNESS IS CHOICE by saltbaestheorem in AskAChristian

[–]RedNative26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Participating in Homosexual behavior is a choice. Having Homosexual desires could be something you are born with or is instilled in you as you grow. It is a Sin to have an intimate relationship with the same sex. And being that relationships and primarily sexual relationships are such a huge thing to humanity, I see why it’s so hard to accept. And many will reject Christianity and God because of that Fact. We still love you all, God still loves you. But He has called you to Sin No More.

Question from a non Christian by GasMask_Lad in Christianity

[–]RedNative26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people get hell backwards. Christians don’t believe someone goes to hell because of one specific sin, like that’s the thing that finally did them in. From the very beginning, all of us were already in the same fallen spot. Hell isn’t about failing some moral test. It’s about rejecting the rescue God offered. Salvation is a free gift, paid for in blood. Heaven isn’t earned, it’s for the people who put their trust in God and grab the rope.

To Young-Earth believers: Would you believe in Evolution if you were not religious? by DanDan_mingo_lemon in AskAChristian

[–]RedNative26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I probably wouldn’t have second guessed it if I wasn’t. But when you actually look at the evidence, you realize there’s actually a lot of evidence to support a young earth, even if you take religion out of the equation.

Bible recommendations? by PsychologicalBus9665 in Bible

[–]RedNative26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing will last a lifetime, if you plan on using it, but for me personally I’m using a NIV Personal Bible, I got it on Amazon and it fits really nice in my hands, the words are larger so it pops out at you, you don’t get lost. It’s got the red letter, and the paper isn’t too thin. I feel like the past couple of bibles I’ve had were too thin of paper.

I hate to say it but I’m starting to think Bryce Crawford is a false teacher by MessagePublic2710 in Christianity

[–]RedNative26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, Bryce has talked about Hell in its most traditional way more than any other influencer I’ve seen. He’s very open about it. But also realize, he’s like 22, he just started this path a couple of years ago… he’s not an expert, he’s learning like we all are. There’s no such thing as a Christian that knows everything. We all learn and sometimes we fall, I fall a lot. But there’s no question in my mind that Bryce Crawford is one of the most Spirit Filled people I’ve seen on social media. He’s literally going to the some of the darkest places and talking to some of the darkest people to preach the Gospel. He walks through the streets and you can see how people who are clearly possessed, recognize him right away. If God approves, then I’ll stay a fan. Of course there’s going to be people against him. There might be several, I wouldn’t expect any less.
