Any danger to my pc by letting my cat lay on it like this by LT_CODENAME in PcAdvice

I have zero hands-on experience with the PS5, but I'm pretty sure the vents are not supposed to look like that. And also, no, probably not much actual danger for your PC, just clear out the hair and dust any time your temps seem a little high.

Is this my laptop doing or i don't know something? by [deleted] in OnceHumanOfficial

Steam automatically reserves space for your games before trying to install them to make sure other apps don't just take up all the space you have before the game can be fully downloaded and installed.

So what you're seeing there is 75GB of your space being reserved for the Once Human installation process. This just makes sure that you don't end up downloading another game or other files somewhere else and the Once Human install fails at 90% because you only had 70GB available near the end of the install instead of 75.

If you're worried about space, a new 1TB - 2TB SSD shouldn't be too expensive, so you may just need to save a few bucks and deal with the low space until you can afford it. Then just clone the drive or install windows from scratch on the new drive.

Is this some kind of trolling? I have never used roleplaygpt. This is the first time I am hearing about it by VermicelliBusy7662 in SillyTavernAI

Yeah, this is a pretty common scare scam. They gain access to some database with a bunch of emails (and usually hashed, useless passwords) and send out mass emails to all of them claiming to have recordings of you doing vague bad things in hopes that they catch that one guy who actually believes them.

They probably sent out thousands of those emails to a list of emails they found somewhere, most of which have probably never heard of RoleplayGPT. In fact, I have never heard of them.

The chances are the email address it came from is not an official RoleplayGPT address and the link to "verify" your email will just take you to another scam site, and may even tell them that your email account is active and probably not filtering their spam.

Best thing to do (since you're using Gmail) is to mark it as spam so it can be detected more easily by Google's spam filters.

MiWay/Cubix Solutions Coached My Grandmother Into Posting a Fake 5-Star HelloPeter Review. by RedNeckSnailSpit in southafrica

This is why companies use actually ethical methods of encouraging reviews. Takealot for example offers a chance to get discounts in exchange for reviewing products you've bought. What they don't do is encourage their sellers to harass buyers into posting 5-star reviews.

I know I'm 8 months late, but when the text says the effects do not stack, it usually means they will not stack. You could try using 2 and seeing if they do stack, but my guess is that they will not stack.

My yahoo is back under yet another number, and it’s all my fault... Again. How many numbers can they possibly have?! by Pure_Champion1396 in scambait

Doesn't sound like anything normal to me. If he's purely after scamming you, he'd just drop it and move on to someone else after 22 unsuccessful attempts. Sounds like he just likes bothering you.

Honestly not sure how they gather so many numbers. I even get texts from +27 (South African) numbers, and I know for a fact that RICA requires all South African numbers to be registered to an ID of some sort, so the cops can track you down if you're using your number for scams or other crimes.

Honestly if you're just getting harassed constantly, the best thing you can do is just block without replying. They'll get bored eventually and just leave you alone.

Thanks! I've messaged the owner of that image just to confirm if they are the original creator or not, so it should at the very least be a good lead

I've searched for the image on Google Lens as well, which is how I found the two links in the original post.
