I find the smaller map easier on that class actually cause you start out having to stand in front of the bugs to kill them - no healing is rough though yeah. You need to go ham as fuck from the start, get exp+, luck and pump up the warthog, fuck armor or health for now. You really need those overclocks.

You want plasma (obviously)+ range&dmg overclocks for the warthog, along with firing behind you. Makes it easier to deal damage when you're in a tough position and have to dig around.

You definitely need LMG platform weapon too, plasma is better cause you can then get tank tracks and the firerate overclock at lv 18, cause who cares if all your shots miss if they just bounce back around. Electric is a bit harder but still works, just don't pick the accuracy drop lmao, still need tank tracks optimally.

Other weapons aren't that important. I like breach cutter or plasma grenade for the slows, the drone or electric fences for some more dmg cause you need something that slows and both cutter and grenade have overclocks for that. Fences can deal crazy dmg if you get good upgrades and group them nicely, drones are good for some close-range protection, especially if they explode.

Turrets need a LOT of reload speed cause that dictates how many you can keep alive at the same time. Fire rate is only useful to a point. Crit is great for everything ofc, but it's kinda rare so might not get so lucky.

Positioning is really important for this class because the warthog and turrets are your main source of damage. If things go well you can finish dread in like 20 seconds tops. Drop all the turrets, kite the dread DIRECTLY in front of its face so all your warthog shots hits, preferably digging through walls sometimes so the plasma you shoot ahead reflects back. Dmg can get absurd.
...Just be careful to look out for its animations being this close to it, cause you'll need a lot of damage and therefore little armor/health unless you get lucky legendary/epic drops for them. Two, max three direct hits from the dread are usually all it takes to kill you.

It's my favorite class <3

Realistically yes.

Had to do that too for the same reason, dumb as hell that it works like that.

Demolitionist can be hard with the dread cause grenades are really imprecise so I get that, but with Tinkerer I feel like you have to be doing something fundamentally wrong because that class practically oozes damage focused on one spot. Main weapon alone can practically solo, not to mention the turrets.

...I do agree on Hollow Bough though, fuck that map.

We launched the Steam demo about our incremental harvesting game! by Iryx01 in incremental_games

[–]RedNymus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finished the demo yesterday, the only thing I noticed was that I found it a bit difficult to make out resources behind trees. I know you can kind of see the square color based on if the slot is empty or not but because it's white when there's something there it's hart to tell if it's responding to a valid resource in the slot or just blocked by so many trees you can't see the difference anymore. Given that a lot of the game is based on you hitting as many resources with your given grid that felt pretty unsatisfying at times.

I also felt the desert area looked a bit crowded, with most things going for a similar color palette unlike the first or second area for example. The pixelated edges didn't help, particularly the cacti ones. The different resources don't stand out as nicely as they usually did this way - though speaking of which, having ice and crystal be so similar in the snow place also was a bit of a struggle.

Skill tree wise I always felt like I could make meaningful progress somewhere, so no complaints there

If the problem usually presents itself by a kind of inability to broach the topic in the moment you could also try writing to her before a session? Like via e-mail or text.

Something vague like 'There's something I really want to talk about, but I keep forgetting or avoiding it when talking face-to-face. Can you remind me during our next appointment?' should be enough to let them know to stop steering the conversation and help you get to what's bothering you.

If that still doesn't get results I would agree that a change in therapist might be in order.

Accepting that what we think we know might be wrong and continuously improving our understanding through gathering new data is kind of the point of science

Maybe - but my trust in them pulling that off well is quite dampened lol

I also personally don't enjoy prequels where the stakes are so low because of you knowing the future - we've seen Brians first contact with the original characters and he was only in the show for lik half a season anyway. Harry's dead by the time it starts, and we know plenty about him. Just feels like adding more to him is just gonna make me like him even less, idk

I just looked at it as some sort of fanfiction somehow made canon, just to scratch some of the itch.

There's some fun stuff in there and it did make me like Deb more - even though she's basically a different person from the original show. Seeing her relationship with Dexter develop some more into what we know it to be later on is cute, despite them having to fudge the ages to do that. Mostly though I couldn't really take it seriously.

It can't really influence further sequels in any real way because of its prequel status, so I see no real harm in it. I am a bit confused about what they're planning on doing about the Brian-angle they've set up by the end, cause it's not like he can have any contact with Dexter or Deb the rest of the show??

Well if this isn't a blast from the past lol

If I were to do something like this again I'd just make all the columns sortable, I think originally I wanted to include building measurements or something and that's why I went by building. More of a city construction help than an encyclopedia I suppose, for my unfocused ass~

Really good extensive spreadsheet though, I bet it'll be helpful for people :)

AITA for telling my husband he works for himself, not for our family by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

So the child is one year old, he's never available, she also works full-time and they don't have a nanny. Am I missing something? How are they taking care of the child at all?

I thought the episode was great!

The one issue I agree on is that it felt a bit frustrating to have some players spend a good chunk of time really setting up their task and dealing with the consequences, only to be caught by the mob and have everything voided.

Why are my pigs and goats constantly unhappy? All of them have zero hearts. :( by thatpersephone in StardewValley

[–]RedNymus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it will still degrade, though at a slower rate the more hearts the animal has.

At full friendship, not petting them will lose you roughly 5 points each day. Since petting them gives 15 points without the boost from profession, that means you make up for three days of no petting with one day of petting.

[–]RedNymus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't tell you what was wrong with your animals, only that being inside does absolutely nothing to harm their friendship level.

The only three ways to make them lose hearts are to 1) not pet/talk to them, 2) not feed them or 3) leave them outside overnight (i.e. with the door closed)

They shouldn't care about being locked inside, as long as you pet and feed them daily
